Have you been having a lazy day in bed, laptop balanced precariously on your stomach with a new Netflix doc playing, and just thought: “I wish I could get paid for this?”
Well, now you can. Yep, really.
Bespoke luxury crafted bed company, Crafted Beds, are now taking applicants for a mattress tester.
The new role will see participants try out a different mattress each week, ranking them in terms of comfortability.
The lucky testers will be able to nap on the job and watch Netflix for a full 37.5 hour work week – getting paid £24,000 per annum for the pleasure.
And it’s down to the testers to find out conclusively whether customers are getting the absolute best quality mattresses for a good night sleep (or Netflix binge).
Brian Dillon, Marketing Manager at Crafted Beds, said of the position: “We’re extremely excited to launch this role as customer satisfaction means the utmost to us.
“Whilst we have glowing reviews from our existing shoppers, we want to ensure that this continues, and hiring a mattress tester is a part of this strategy. This role will be an integral part of the Crafted Beds team.”
As this is a job that you can do from home, anyone can apply for the role; the only requirements are that hopefuls are UK based, able to test the mattress alone without disruption, and have strong written communication skills to complete the weekly review form.
The mattresses will be delivered to you each week, and you will test them out at home – so there’s no need for a commute (result)!
