The X Factor star, who was always known for his wild hair, looks totally different 12 years after appearing on the show.

X Factor star Frankie Cocozza - known for his wild hair - looks totally different 12 years after appearing on the show.

The now 30-year-old singer has had quite the transformation after appearing on the infamous talent show in 2011.

He appeared on The X Factor when he was just 18-years-old and was on the programme with the likes of Little Mix, being mentored by none other than Gary Barlow.

You’ll be sad to know that the singer has since gotten rid of his crazy locks, and appears to be living a happy life on the other side of the world.

The singer lives in Australia and is part of a band called Telescreen, continuing his flourishing music career.

The once young lad now has a child of his own and he seems to be doing pretty well for himself!

The star welcomed his little boy into the world, also called Frankie, in 2019 with his then wife, Bianca Murphy, however it appears as though the pair are now separated.

Bianca deleted all traces of Frankie on her socials last year, and changed her name back from Cocozza.

Talking to The Sun, a source at the time said: “Frankie and Bianca were madly in love but things just fizzled out over time.

“They have remained on good terms for the sake of their son, Frankie Jr, but have both moved on.”

Frankie was known for being a cheeky-chappy, with him once famously exposing his bum on television to reveal the names of seven girls he had tattooed on his behind.

However, he supposedly blew every penny of the money he earned from X Factor on alcohol, with him telling The Mirror: "I have no regrets. I performed on live TV in front of 14 million and that’s such a great thing to tell people.”

Revealing that he was working on a building site following his fortune, he added: “I think I was just bored. I sat in my room for the last three or four years playing guitar every day.”

Former X Factor stars have spoken out about mental health struggles following their appearances on the show, one being Katie Waiseel, who appeared on the same series as One Direction.

Series 12 winner James Arthur has also struggled, as well as Lucy Spraggan.
