James Arthur debuted a brand new look during his recent performance on Britain’s Got Talent and fans have been loving it.

After rising to fame winning The X Factor in 2012, James once again performed on stage in front of Simon Cowell as a certified pop star, this time on the hit ITV talent show’s third semi-final.

The 35-year-old ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ crooner performed his new single ‘A Year Ago’ and after he finished he thanked Simon for his support over the last decade.

Fans are used to seeing James with a shorter ‘do but were pleasantly surprised by his longer curly-haired look.

One shocked viewer tweeted: “Apparently James Arthur was searched over 20K times in last few hours on Google in UK. People wanna see that hair again so they can re-floor themselves!”

While another fan listed all of James’ incredible achievements, including his hair, writing: “Not just a #BGT performer and #Brits Billion Award winner but a great footballer too and hair to floor you #JamesArthur.”

Another sign of approval came from one Britain’s Got Talent viewer who tweeted: “James Arthur's hair is flexed. I’m into it tho.”

Both the new song and the new hair pleased one fan, who gushed: “James Arthur. Cool song. Great hair.”

Viewers were also left stunned by James’ voice during his performance, with one sharing: “James Arthur got that voice that even if the song is not for me his voice gonna give me chills every time!"

While another simply tweeted: “Brilliant James."

James appeared on Lorraine earlier this week.

Earlier this week James appeared on ITV’s Lorraine to promote his new single and viewers who tuned in where taken aback by his new look.

Chatting to Ranvir Singh about what he has in store for fans, James said his new single is a ‘return to the sort of sound people would recognise me for’.

After ‘experimenting’ while making his fourth album, It’ll All Make Sense in the End, James teased his ‘singer-songwriter’ vision for his new era. Viewers compared his reinvention to Game of Thrones, which is quite amazing.

Taking to social media, one TV fan declared: “James Arthur looks like a Game of Thrones character.”

A second commented: “Nice haircut pal!”

While another shared: “Lovely to see the incredible James Arthur what a lovely interview with Ranvir.”
