We’re just days away from Euphoria season three being wrapped up and all of the characters’ fates finally being revealed.
On Sunday (31 March) in the US, and the early hours of Monday morning in the UK, fans of the show will be hiding behind their hands as they eventually find out what happens to Cassie, Maddy, Rue, Jules, and everyone else whose futures are hanging in the balance.
Starring huge A-List names like Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Zendaya, the show has had viewers hooked, started up conversations, and sparked fan theories, as the episodes have dropped weekly for the past month.
The TV show began all the way back in 2019 with season one and was followed by season two in 2022 - and some fans simply aren’t ready to let go.

With murmurs of this series being a final hurrah, one question left on everyone’s lips right now is, will there be a fourth season of Euphoria?
The answer to the question is, nobody really knows.
Creator Sam Levinson, nor any of the cast members, have outwardly said that Euphoria season three would definitely be the last instalment.
However, it’s been widely assumed by fans that it is, given the busy schedules of the huge names involved and how long it took for them to come together for this season.
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show last month, Zendaya was asked if it would be the show’s final season, to which the actress replied, “I think so,” before adding that ‘closure is coming’.
She gushed: “Euphoria, it cracked my heart open. Rue taught me so much about life. I mean, that crew also has seen me grow up. I owe so much to that show.”
“Rue taught me so much about empathy and about redemption. She taught me a lot, and I'm very grateful for all of it.”
Meanwhile, HBO's head of drama Francesca Orsi told Deadline, “We’ve talked about it, I don’t think anything is over until it’s over, but it’s been discussed that this is the end. I think you will be very satisfied with this season and how we bring each of the characters’ whole narrative."
However, despite the heavy hints that this really is the end, some fans still think there’s more to come. Here’s why.

First of all, creator Sam Levinson simply will not say that it’s over, which, of course, gives fans a tiny bit of hope to cling onto.
Speaking to Variety after Zendaya’s comments, Levinson weighed up whether or not he wanted to continue with the show past season three.
He told the publication that he writes ‘every season like it’s the last season’ and has ‘no plans’ for a Season 4 as of right now.
The creator said at the time that he was solely focusing on the current season at the moment, explaining, “I want to finish this as strong as I can. I’m cutting [Episodes] 7 and 8 still. I’m putting some finishing touches. I just want to deliver a f***ing slam dunk season.”
But again, it’s still not a hard no!

Secondly, hardcore viewers are convinced Euphoria has more to offer thanks to HBO’s wording of the last episode of season three, episode eight.
This might seem like a stretch, but the channel has the finale listed as the ‘season finale’ rather than the ‘series finale’ like other shows that have come to a definitive end have previously been called.
One Reddit user wrote: “There's speculation that we might get a Season 4 because the finale is marked as a SEASON finale instead of a SERIES finale.”
While a second X user questioned: “Wait, why is Euphoria billing it as a season finale and not a series finale?”
And a third guessed: “They said it was the last season at first, but then the viewership was insane, so now they'll probably make a season 4, but it'll be a completely different cast.”

Finally, some fans are theorizing that rather than a traditional fourth season, we could instead get a spin-off involving different characters or even a whole movie.
This is because viewers think a lot of the cast members are ready to move on to other projects, not to mention the fact that some new characters have been introduced in this series.
One viewer wrote on X: “Wouldn’t be surprised if 'season finale' is being utilized in the Euphoria promo because the show will be ending on a one-off special film instead of a traditional final season.”
While a second Redditor guessed: “Honestly, they should’ve done what Skins did for season 3 and focused on Rue’s sister and a new group of high schoolers.
“Trying to continue this show outside of high school without Rue would just be an entirely different show. But I do think HBO will do it, and I’ll still watch.”
A third agreed: “I like this idea, but I feel like it should be a separate spinoff show.”
Get your popcorn ready - I guess we'll have to wait and see to find out...
