Kristen Stewart revealed one scene in her hit franchise that she absolutely hated, and you’ll probably understand when you read which part of the film it was.
Twilight was the film that kickstarted most people’s love of vampires in the last couple of decades, and who can blame them?
While you might not have been on WikiHow’s ‘How To Look Like A Vampire’ page like I was after becoming obsessed with the sparkling characters, it certainly became a classic film that changed how we see love triangles, wolves and 100-year age gaps.
Robert Pattinson and Stewart’s chemistry was also something to behold, but when it came to filming scenes, not everyone was comfortable with certain aspects.

Even though the pair were in a relationship at the time, and won an award for their kiss, when it comes down to the fourth instalment, things between them changed on screen.
Gone was the life-and-death teen romance, as their wedding and life together began to take shape.
Which included the consummation of their nuptials. Come now, you know what I’m talking about here. It’s the bed breaking scene in Breaking Dawn.

According to Stewart, who told Harper’s Bazaar UK, that was the scene she called ‘grotesquely uncomfortable.’
That scene, and any other scene like that, is something she hates to film.
However, only if it’s filmed in a certain way.
“I only hate them when they’re contrived,” said Stewart in 2015.

For her scene with Pattinson, she found that it was too hard to live up to, telling the outlet: “On Twilight we had to do the most epic sex scene of all time. It had to be transcendent and otherworldly, inhuman, better sex than you can possibly ever imagine, and we were like, ‘How do we live up to that?’ It was agony. Which sucks, because I wanted it to be so good.”
Not only was her sex scene a problem, but apparently, so was her first kiss scene in the first flick.
According to Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, Stewart was under 18 at the time, while Pattinson was an adult in the eyes of California State Law.

"I could tell they had a lot of chemistry,” she said on The Big Hit Show podcast “and I’m like, ‘Oh my God’, I thought. Kristen was 17. I don’t want to get in some illegal things.”
As she was 17, and was confirmed as being the one to play Bella Swan, things were difficult navigating the kiss scene with 21-year-old Pattinson.
California State Law states that it is ‘a sex crime for a person to engage in a lewd act with a minor child’ under the age of 18 if they were ‘touching a child for sexual purposes, or causing a child to touch him/herself or someone else for a sexual purpose.’
But thankfully, they got around it and they ended up winning an award for said kiss.
