Love Island winner Lorenzo makes history with shock new career move that fans have never seen before
Fresh from his Love Island 2026 victory with Julia, Lorenzo isn't wasting any time. Just days after leaving the villa as this year's winner, he's already secured a brand-new role and is off to an impressive start.
After weeks of bombshell arrivals, explosive re-couplings, emotional Casa Amor reunions and plenty of villa twists, the Love Island final saw Lorenzo and Julia beat six fellow finalists to the win, and now they have the £50,000 cash prize.
The 28-year-old business owner had a dramatic season, packed with love triangles and plenty of drama. He eventually coupled up with insurance broker Julia, 26, after they met during the Casa Amor twist and their undeniable chemistry won over viewers.
ITV revealed the voting figures for the final and the winning couple triumphed with a massive 62.4% of the popular vote, almost double the votes received for runner's up Jasmine and Kavan who got 37.6% when both couples went head-to-head.

Lorenzo's journey was one of the biggest talking points of the entire series and he's now putting his relationship expertise to good use as Vogue's resident Agony Uncle.
Fans have been sending in their relationship dilemmas for advice from the Love Island winner, and the cases so far have been nothing short of shocking.
One reader wrote in after being accused of having an affair with their best friend and asked how they could convince their partner that the friendship is purely platonic.
Drawing on his own experience from the ITV dating show, Lorenzo advised getting everyone together in the same room for a drink and steering clear of any sarcastic comments.
Another reader revealed they had started seeing someone they really liked but had also been invited to appear on a dating show. Despite winning the biggest dating show on TV himself, Lorenzo encouraged them to pursue the relationship instead. “Lightning doesn’t strike twice often so if you’ve found something you should hold onto it for dear life because it’s rough out there.”
Sadly, Julia was not featured in the social media clip. Following their win, the pair have already revealed exactly where the £50,000 prize fund could be going and it sounds like there'll be some very lavish purchases made in the near future.
Lorenzo said his experience on the show helped him realise he appreciates sentimental items as well as more expensive gifts which has influenced how he’ll spend the money.
“I want to get myself a nice token from this experience, maybe a watch or something to commemorate it. I’ve realised I’m quite a sentimental person,” he told The Sun.
“Last night I kept the cork from the champagne that they gave us after the show.
“Just little things to celebrate what a journey it has been.”
Meanwhile, insurance broker Julia said: “Heels! I’m getting myself a nice pair of heels.”
To which Lorenzo replied: “And maybe a good holiday.”
