Severance star Britt Lower treated fans to an Easter egg during her Emmys speech last night (14 September) - and the internet has gone wild.
The American actress, 40, took home the gong for Lead Actress in a Drama Series, for her portrayal of both Helena, the daughter of Lumen's chief executive, and Helly R, in the Apple TV show.
For those who aren't familiar with the show, it hit our screens back in 2022 and boasts a star-studded cast, including the likes of Adam Scott, John Turturro and Christopher Walken, just to name a few.

It follows a group of employees working at a biotechnology firm named Lumon Industries, who have undergone a process called 'severance'.
The procedure wipes the staff members' memories of the outside world while they're at work, and gives them no recollection of their jobs as they return home again.

However, when a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it sparks a journey to discover the truth about their jobs.

The second series of the show premiered on 17 January, and it was announced in March that season three is also in the works, to the delight of fans.
After Lower bagged her Emmy, she said during her acceptance speech: “First, it’s a privilege to even be mentioned alongside such an incredible group of artists.
"Wow. I share this award with my heroic cast and crew whose work catalyses mine."
She continued: "Thank you to my mom and my dad, my brother, my husband, our kids, our co-parents, our chosen family. I love you so much."

Lower added: "Thank you for this, and thank you for Helly R, for choosing me."

But eagle-eyed fans were speedy to notice something written on the back of the piece of paper she took up onto the stage with her - three words.
On the back of her speech notes, 'LET ME OUT,' was penned in black.

In the show, Helena Egan’s 'innie,' Helly R., writes the same message in black ink on her forearms in an attempt to be freed from Lumon Industries - and people are obsessed with the 'iconic' reference.
One fan simply penned on Twitter: "So f**king cool," while a second added: "Brilliant".
"That’s so meta I love it," wrote a third impressed Severance fan, as a fourth chimed in with: "She is so f**king brilliant. I love her."

And a sixth social media user agreed: "The cast and crew on Severance are dedicated to the subtle clues. Even during an acceptance speech."
