Patrick J. Adams has confessed to the one act Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, would commit during their time working together on the beloved American legal drama, Suits.
2026 marks the 15th anniversary of Suits, starring Adams, Gabriel Macht, and Sarah Rafferty, premiering on the USA Network.
The nine-season programme spans more than 130 episodes and documents the lives and sometimes dodgy dealings of employees at a New York City corporate law firm.
44-year-old Adams, currently performing in the first-ever Broadway revival of Chess the musical, played associate Mike Ross on the TV show, with Meghan Markle, also 44, portraying paralegal Rachel Zane.

Their characters officially entered into a romantic relationship at the end of season two, with a wedding later taking place in the Suits season seven finale.

The big day served as both Adams's and Markle’s final appearance as series regulars, with the latter going on to marry Harry, Duke of Sussex.
During an appearance on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, the theatre star lifted the lid on what it was like working with the Duchess.
The admission originated as the pair discussed his cheeky Instagram bio, which reads: “The other guy from that show that you're watching on that app because that girl married that prince.”
“I've got to change that,” Adams said when Hirsch, 37, brought it up.
The father-of-three continued: "It's the sort of thing that wherever Meghan is, if she's ever read that, she's going, 'Patrick, give me a break'.
“I got a lot of eye rolls,. That was a constant with Meghan, her rolling her eyes at me like, ‘Oh my god, what are you doing?'”
When asked if the mother-of-two had ever called him out for the social media sting, he quipped: "No, never, but I'm sure I got an eye roll.”

The duo later discussed Netflix’s With Love, Meghan, with Adams revealing that he did not ‘get a jam’ or ‘anything’ from his former on-screen wife following the launch of her lifestyle brand, As Ever, in 2025.
He joked that he probably did not ‘have enough followers’ to warrant PR packages from the senior royal.
In 2024, Adams and his fellow Suits co-star, Rafferty, 53, followed in the footsteps of One Tree Hill and Wizards of Waverly Place alumni by launching a rewatch podcast.
Sidebar, which has covered the first series of Suits, has not been updated since 25 February 2025.
Fans have used the podcast’s official Instagram page to beg both Adams and Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, to bring it back immediatley.
“We need this back soon,” commented one Instagram user.
A second replied: “Please let us know if there new season is coming up.”
“Guys, at this point, any update would mean a lot. Just say you don't know if there's ever gonna be a season 2, give us closure,” replied someone else.

Following the launch of Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast, Adams wrote on a Reddit thread that Markle had previously reached out to congratulate him.
"Is it weird now that your co-star is now royalty? Are you still in touch?" a fan asked, prompting Adams to admit that he and Meghan 'are not really in touch'.
He added that she 'leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons'.
"Upon hearing about the podcast, I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in any way," he continued, adding that it was 'so lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart'.
Tyla has previously reached out to Meghan Markle’s representatives for comment.
