MAFS UK viewers finally work out why Luke looks so familiar

Now, as I'm sure we know, viewers reckon there's been a bunch of celebrity lookalikes on this season of Married At First Sight UK.

We've already heard all about Ryan Livesey's uncanny similarities to a young Channing Tatum, Hannah Norburn being compared to Misfits star Lauren Socha and Caspar Todd's likeliness to actor Rufus Sewell but the latest doppelgänger in the mix is none other than 30-year-old prison education manager, Luke Debono.

Dubbed a 'traditional gentleman', the MAFS UK groom first entered the experiment a few weeks back and opened up about how he hoped the experience will help him become more 'vulnerable'.

Now, Luke was coupled up with 29-year-old wedding planner Amy Kenyon, but things didn't seem to go too well at first for the pair after she revealed he had already given her 'the ick'.

During a photo shoot, Luke kissed his new bride on the hand and said: "Hello baby."

The gesture clearly didn't go down well with Amy after she told the cameras: "It's giving me the ick a little bit."

Since then, fans have watched the relationship grow and things seem to be going pretty well - even amidst the chaos of this week's viewing which saw both Orson Nurse and Richelle Cade alongside Hannah and Stephen Nolson to depart following a 'wife swap' scandal.

Things got super heated when Sacha Jones finally called out Alex Henry for his 'misogynist' behaviour after it was clear that none of the other grooms were planning to.

"Don't do that to me Alex, I don't think you need to turn to Richelle and say 'you're talking f**king s**t' and turn to Lacey and say 'you're a snake', there's certain ways of addressing things calmly," she said.

Sacha added: "You don't need to attack, attack, attack. I've sat here and watched you attack the women either end and it's f**king me off because I didn't like it Alex."

Alex later told the cameras: "Holly's annoyed, I've told Lacey that I think she's a snake and now you've got Sasha coming at me, just be quiet, your voice is going straight through me.

"If I was Ross, I would be telling my wife to pipe down, not everything needs your two pence."

However, amidst all the drama this week, viewers have still found the time to finally figure out why Luke seems so familiar to them.

They've compared him to a fellow reality TV star who appeared on ITV's Love Island back in 2022 and ended up winning the thing - none other than Davide Sanclimenti.

Taking to social media to share their discovery, one X user penned: "Anyone else get Davide vibes from Luke?"

"Literally love Luke so bad like he's Davide part 2," agreed a second, while a third chimed in: "Luke reminds me of Davide with the comments he comes out with."

A fourth chirped: "No but Luke is so f**king hilarious he reminds me of Davide from Love Island."

"Luke reminds me so much of Davide hahahaha," echoed another and a final X user added: "Luke reminds me of Davide from Love Island, just unintentionally funny."
