Married At First Sight UK’s Holly Ditchfield has shared the heartbreaking news that her newborn twins have died, nine days after being born prematurely.
The 33-year-old dental hygienist, who featured on season nine of MAFS UK, welcomed the boys, named Georgie and Marley, with her partner Aaron Summers, on 26 August - just 23 weeks and five days into her pregnancy.
Holly announced on Instagram that the little ones were receiving treatment in the NICU and she’d been ‘faced with things I never imagined I would have to experience’.
Tragically, nine days later, on Saturday (5 September), the reality TV star shared the news that the twins had passed away, hours apart from each other.

Alongside a black and white photo of her and Aaron holding them, Holly wrote: “My beautiful boys, Georgie & Marley. It has been the hardest, most heartbreaking, yet most magical 9 days of our lives.
“At 1pm on 03/09/2026, our darling Georgie peacefully passed away. Then, at 5am on 04/09/2026, his beautiful brother Marley followed him.”

She emotionally recalled: “My boys both took their final breaths in the arms of me and their daddy. There is no greater privilege, and no greater pain, than holding your children as they leave this world.
“They gave us the most precious week of our lives. A week I would live over and over again, just to have those moments with them. To hold them. To look at them. To love them. To be their mummy and daddy.
“My boys are together again now, just as they should be, and I pray with all my heart that they are finally at peace.”
Holly continued: “Nothing could ever prepare you for losing your children. Nothing prepares you for having to walk your babies to a mortuary. We have seen and faced more in these 9 days than I ever imagined possible, and my heart feels completely bruised.
“My body feels different. It feels like a part of me is no longer here, because a part of me truly isn’t. I miss my boys more than words could ever explain.
“I would have given absolutely everything to have watched Georgie and Marley grow, to hear their voices, watch them take their first steps, and see the beautiful lives they deserved to have.”

She added: “But for 9 precious days, they were here. They were ours. They were loved beyond measure. And they will forever be our beautiful boys.
“Please, I ask everyone to respect how incredibly difficult this is for me and Aaron right now. We are trying to process a pain no parent should ever have to know.
“Georgie & Marley, thank you for giving us the most precious 9 days of our lives. You will forever be our sons, our babies, and the biggest part of our hearts.
“Until we meet again, my beautiful boys. Mummy & Daddy love you forever.”
In addition to her newborn twins, Holly is also mother to two children, Daisy, 12, and Dec, 16, from a previous relationship.
Holly and Aaron got engaged in May 2025 and announced they were expecting on 6 June.
The MAFS UK star posted an Instagram Story on Sunday (6 September) to thank her followers for their messages of support.
She wrote: “Please don’t think for a second that your messages have been ignored. I have read so many of them, but I honestly just don’t know what to say.
“I’m struggling to find the words, struggling to process everything, and struggling to accept that this is actually our reality.
“Some moments I feel like I’m going to wake up from the worst nightmare, and then I remember my boys aren’t coming home.”
Holly explained that there are ‘no words for the pain they are feeling’ but ‘every kind word and every bit of love means more to me and Aaron than you will ever know’.
She concluded that they are ‘trying to take each minute, each hour, and each day, as it comes’.
