An underrated holiday movie has captured the hearts of Netflix fans.

There's a lot to love about Christmas - the food, the family time, and, of course, the gifts.

But there's one other thing people enjoy about the most wonderful time of the year - the festive films, of course.

We know all the classics, but there's one Christmas movie that people have been absolutely loving this year.

The best part?

It's on Netflix, for the ultimate ease of watching!

Klaus, made by Despicable Me creator Sergio Pablos, was the streaming service's first entry into original animated feature films when it hit the platform in 2019.

For those who missed the movie at the time, the official IMDb descriptions reads: "A simple act of kindness always sparks another, even in a frozen, faraway place. When Smeerensburg's new postman, Jesper, befriends toymaker Klaus, their gifts melt an age-old feud and deliver a sleigh full of holiday traditions."

Klaus also boasts a star-studded voice cast, including Jason Schwartzman, Rashida Jones, and J. K. Simmons.

The movie has warmed the hearts of viewers.

Viewers have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts after discovering the festive flick.

One fan posted: "Yes, I loved #KlausNetflix. Yes, it made me cry my eyes out."

Another added: "Klaus on Netflix is the most ADORABLE and well animated 2D movie I've seen in SO LONG Y'ALL. I really hope everyone gives it a chance. I don't care who you think you are, if you CAN watch it, you absolutely should !!!"

While a third viewer gushed: "Has anyone else seen #KlausNetflix yet? You're doing yourself a disservice, it's beautiful, the voice cast are amazing and it's breathtaking. Love love love."

A fourth exclaimed: "IT'S SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOO GOOD. I CRIED BUCKETS. WONDERFUL MOVIE. AMAZING. SOUNDTRACK SLAP. STORY SLAP. COMEDIC TIMING SLAP."

Klaus is available to stream on Netflix.

And it's not just the viewers that have been loving the holiday watch, critics have also praised the film.

It currently boasts an impressive 95 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

One critic wrote: "Earns a spot not just as a holiday must-see, but as a landmark moment for animation."

A second penned: "A great holiday tale for the whole family."

While a third added: "The acts of kindness that [Klaus] talks about are just as important as everything else. I’ll surely make it a tradition to watch this film on Christmas Day."

So if you're tired of watching Love Actually and Home Alone over and over again, why not consider switching up your Christmas movie playlist by adding Klaus to the mix?
