It's barely been a week in the jungle for the I'm A Celebrity campmates and already there have been rule breaks, and it's not the first time the ITV show has had them.

ITV viewers watched as BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough confided in campmate Jane Moore that he had managed to smuggle in tea bags.

Whilst ITV show bosses haven't let Dean know they are investigating his rule break, Ant and Dec have promised there will be repercussions and it will be 'dealt with'. Usually that means limited food or nothing but rice and beans, which isn't going to go down well with an already starving camp.

The TV show has strict rules around what celebrities can bring into camp, and food is expressly forbidden. They are allowed a luxury item each, but usually this is a chair, a pillow or a photograph of a loved one.

However, celebrities in the past have also tried to flout the rules, making for some iconic TV moments.

In 2012, Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor thought he could get away with salt and pepper packets hidden at the bottom of his backpack, which was quickly spotted and taken away.

The following year, model Amy Willerton thought she had got one over on the show as she managed to sneak an entire bag of makeup in, but, she was busted ten days in and forced to hand every item back.

Let's also not forget TV chef Gino D'Acampo who appeared to innocently bring a pillow in as his luxury item, but actually he had stuffed it with contraband items.

He revealed: "I stuffed it with a lot of salt, sugar, four different teas and ten sachets of coffee.

"I had it in my shoes as well. I thought: 'If the security guys catch the stuff in the pillow, I still have the stuff in the shoes.'"

Another iconic moment was health guru Gillian McKeith who also tried to hide food items when she entered the jungle, with spices even hidden inside her knickers. Yet, she was also quickly discovered, with the items quickly confiscated.

There are occasionally exceptions as in 2017 reality TV star Georgia Toffolo was one of the only campmates ever allowed to have makeup, as she was granted special permission to apply concealer once a day to cover her acne.

The Made In Chelsea star has always been transparent about her skin battles, and as she had treatment to cure the acne but it was sun sensitive she was granted the makeup to help protect her skin.

At the time, a source close to the show said: "Georgia has always had problems with her skin, but her treatment is sun sensitive so she's unable to use it in the jungle.

"She's been allowed access to concealer on medical grounds. It's annoyed other female campmates who are jealous."
