It's the stuff of legends - that time Dakota Johnson made things incredibly awkward for Ellen DeGeneres when she appeared on her now-cancelled talk show show.
Dakota went down in history on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when she appeared as a guest in 2019, months after turning 30 years old.
Ellen - who in recent years has been accused of bullying and creating a toxic workplace - tried to claim the Fifty Shades Of Grey actress didn't invite her to her birthday party.

But Dakota hit back with the now iconic line: "Actually, no, that’s not the truth, Ellen, you were invited."
"Last time I was on the show, last year, you gave me a bunch of s**t about not inviting you, but I didn’t even know you wanted to be invited," she insisted.
Ellen argued: "Well, who wouldn’t want to be invited to a party?"
Dakota put her foot down, clarifying: "But I did invite you, and you didn’t come." In case you needed a reminder:
Now, the actress has hilariously given us a 'part 2' of the incident as she appeared at a Q&A session during a screening of her new film, titled Splitsville, in Los Angeles.
In a clip shared on Reddit that's been dubbed 'part 2', Dakota's co-star Nicholas Braun was recalling how he learned magic.

The Succession actor revealed another cast member, Kyle Marvin, showed him a trick: “He taught me how to hide a card in my hand,” he recalled.
A stunned Dakota interrupted, saying “Nick. I thought — Wait, Kyle taught you this?”
Braun then confirmed that he taught him the trick on the morning of the shoot.
Dakota playfully responded: “I hate this f**king movie,” and got up from her chair.

“I thought you did that, that you learned it,” she accused. In disbelief he had learned it that morning, she continued: “What?! I thought you had prepared that.”
“Not at all. No, we came up with it the night before,” Braun replied.

Pretending to be appalled, Dakota argued: “No you had been doing it for weeks," to which Braun insisted he hadn't.

It was at that point that Dakota threw the microphone to the floor as a joke and stormed off stage and into the crowd. who were applauding her.
One social media user joked saying the moment was a blend of “Oh he didn’t prep as well as I thought he did” and “Wait he learned that in a single morning, I’m jealous!”
Others argued: “If she was really mad she wouldn’t be speaking into the microphone. It’s an act. She’s getting really good at it.”
One commenter pointed out: “Dakota is a producer on this film, she’s not just an actress here…She has a comfort level in slamming the mic down as a joke.”

"This is clearly a light moment, but girl please, those microphones are expensive!" pleaded one viewer, while another said: "Dakota you get back here now an apologise to that sound guy!"
Many fans also assumed it was a joke because the new film is about divorcing couples and arguing... which seems pretty spot on.
