Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan opens up on ‘flirty’ relationship with co-star Jacob Elordi

Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan opens up on ‘flirty’ relationship with co-star Jacob Elordi

The actor spoke about his off-screen relationship with Jacob Elordi.

Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan has opened up about his relationship with co-star Jacob Elordi, admitting it's 'flirty'.

The actors star together in new movie, Saltburn where they play uni friends Oliver Quick and Felix Catton.

If you've watched the Amazon Prime Video movie, you'll know there are some rather questionable scenes (humping a grave, I'm looking at you).

One particular moment has even inspired a best-selling candle and a coconut based cocktail (IYKYK).

Whether it's the dark, twisted humour or the dynamic between Oliver and Felix, viewers have pretty obsessed with the pair's on-screen chemistry.

So it makes sense that they'd go wild over their off-screen relationship, too.

For example, fans lost the plot when the co-stars leaned in for a near-kiss at the LA premiere of the movie.

Meanwhile, one summed it up on X: "Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan's chemistry is off the f**king charts."

Speaking about their relationship, Barry said it 'wasn't just for the cameras'.

Barry told GQ: “I’m really flirtin’. Me and Jacob - he’s like a brother to me, honestly.

“I think when you’re comfortable with someone, you can be as close as you want, you know what I mean? It’s not like, ‘Oh, don’t come near me’ - it’s like, I’m comfortable.

"When I’m comfortable around people, I’m comfy.

“I’m comfortable with Jacob. Messin’ about. Havin’ a laugh. We’re bein’ lads.

"We’ve just done a movie where we had to kiss, man. Look at the scenes we’ve done.

"You have to be comfortable with yourself.”

The actor recently responded to rumours regarding his relationship with the mother of his baby son, Alyson Sandro.

The pair are said to have split last summer following the birth of their 15-month-old son, Brando.

Speaking about his son in a recent interview, Barry, explained having Brando was 'the best time of [his] life'.

"Havin’ a baby boy, and leadin’ a movie. It was the best time of my life, I must say - yeah," he told GQ.

While Barry didn't comment on the split rumours specifically, he did speak about Alyson, adding: “She’s done a great job and she’s an incredible mother."

The publication said that the actor offered 'nothing further'.

Tyla has contacted Keoghan's reps for further comment.
