Fans are all making the exact same hilarious comparison as Barry Keoghan updated his profile picture after getting locked out of his account.

Now, the last time the 32-year-old Saltburn star posted from his official X account was way back in May of last year.

However, he revealed over the weekend (2 November) that he finally 'remembered' his password after retweeting a Netflix post giving fans a 'first look' at him in the upcoming Peaky Blinders film.

"What we sayin!?" Barry, who is currently dating 25-year-old 'Taste' singer Sabrina Carpenter, wrote.

Shortly after, the Irish actor posted a new snap of him bundled up in a black North Face puffer jacket with a slight pout and smouldering gaze with the caption: "#NewProfilePic."

Naturally, the people of the internet couldn't wait to share their thoughts on Baz's latest snap, with many of them saying the picture felt extremely familiar to them, given its nostalgic and apparent major 'lad' vibes.

One X user penned: "This is the exact angle the boys from Year 9 would have as their Facebook pfp [profile picture] and it’s a slay."

"Why does this look like it was taken on an old Nokia?" wondered a second, while a third declared: "He looks like every boy who left school to do an apprenticeship in some kind of trade."

A fourth piped up: "Just missing the high-vis jacket and he’s set."

"Probably knows all the best spots for a cheap pint," echoed a fifth, while a sixth quipped: "Bet he’s got the best banter on the worksite."

Another joked: "'Back in school after half term can't be a**ed ' vibe."

And a final X user praised: "Certified lad energy right here."

Fans are clearly buzzing to catch the Oscar nominee star who is set to star opposite fellow Irish actor Cillian Murphy, who will continue to play the infamous Birmingham gangster, Tommy Shelby, in the upcoming flick.

"Barry looks solid there. Can't wait to see this movie," wrote one fan.

Another chimed in: "Loving the vibes Barry is bringing to this character!"

"The most perfect cast ever," gushed a third, while someone else declared: "The accent is going to be insane."

"Barry’s got that gritty vibe, perfect for the Peaky Blinders world," complimented a fifth. "Can’t wait to see how he fits into the gang!"

And a final fan added: "Can't wait to see his twist on the gritty world of the Peaky Blinders. Buckle up, it's gonna be intense!"

A release date for the Peaky Blinders movie has not yet been confirmed.
