When it comes to Netflix dropping brand new banger after banger, we've been spoilt as of recent.

However, sometimes it's nice to crack open the Netflix vault and dive into some of the older series on the streaming platform.

And it's clear that sifting through the archives clearly does pay off, as Netflix viewers are re-watching a 'must watch' drama with an 'amazing ending'.

Check out the official trailer here:

The eight-year-old series is clearly still on people's minds, so much so that some Netflix users have rewatched it several times.

And that series is Queen of the South.

The show follows Teresa Mendoza who ends up embroiled in the drug dealing world after her boyfriend, a dealer himself, was murdered in Mexico.

She's then forced to seek refuge in America and finds herself settling in Dallas, Texas.

The show first hit our screens back in 2016.

In a bid to revenge her boyfriend's death, Teresa then sets out to be the country's biggest drug smuggler so she can bring down the leader of the drug trafficking ring that caused her to flee Mexico in the first place.

So far, there are five seasons of the show to watch, with the first dropping in 2016, while 2021 marking the release of season five.

Many viewers have since rushed to LADbible's Netflix Bangers Facebook page to discuss the watch with fellow subscribers.

People are hailing Queen of the South as a 'must watch'.

"Well Well Well… Tell me more about this?" one person asked after posting a promo image of Queen of the South while dozens rushed in to share their thoughts.

One penned: "Watching this at the moment. On season three. It's a good watch."

"Watched this a long time ago, it's really good. It's defo a must watch that's for sure," assured a second one.

A third chimed in: "Amazing watched it twice and probably would watch again. Fully enjoyed amazing ending , miss the characters lol."

While a fourth quipped: "Just finished rewatching it, i had forgotten how good it is. Absolutely brilliant."
