If crime documentaries and scaring yourself silly is your thing, then take note.

Netflix viewers are saying they're 'too scared to sleep' after watching a new creepy true crime doc about stalkers.

I Am A Stalker dropped on the streaming platform over the weekend and people are already glued to it.

As you might have guessed, the doc is about real-life stalkers and hears directly from those convicted of the crime.

From exes to co-workers and online stalkers, the show looks inside the minds of eight perpetrators - who each explain how they became so obsessed with their victims.

Meanwhile, viewers hear from the victims themselves, who recount their terrifying experiences and recall how they brought their stalkers to justice.

When it released in the US, I Am A Stalker became one of the most watched crime shows in the country.

And many viewers have commented on the shocking lack of awareness and remorse from some of the stalkers in the documentary.

"In I Am A Stalker convicted stalkers tell us, in their own chilling words, how love turned into deadly obsession in face first, captivating in-depth interviews," a synopsis reads.

"The perpetrators will tell their story from their perspective in a thought-provoking, and emotionally confrontational style that also features first person testimony from their courageous victims who survived these shocking crimes."

While I Am A Stalker was first released on Crime + Investigation back in October 2022, people are only just discovering the show.
