Netflix is no stranger to putting out a whole bunch of weird and wonderful series throughout the years, but the latest addition to the streamer has clearly sparked quite the response online.

The TV series has clearly been quite a shock for some after they saw a fully erect penis in the drama, which stars the likes of Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu, Tom Pelphrey and Sarah Jones.

Now, the series follows real estate mogul Charlie Croker (Daniels) who faces bankruptcy as his political and business interests collide forcing him to defend his empire from those attempting to take advantage of his 'fall from grace'.

The series is based on the novel of the same name, but it has a rather different ending.

We are, of course taking about A Man in Full.

Though before you read on, there are spoilers ahead...

In the show, Charlie walks in on his wife, Martha, having sex with a man named Raymond Peepgrass (Pelphrey).

She runs out of the room, leaving Raymond exposing his erect penis, having just taken viagra.

Charlie is so furious that he tries to choke Raymond, but begins having a heart attack himself, restricting him from letting go of his neck.

In the show, both men die - which is a different ending to the novel, in which Raymond and Martha end up together.

While the whole penis thing may have proven to be quite the controversial addition to the six-part series, it's not stopped fans absolutely loving it with many rushing to social media to share their disappointment after discovering that the 'f*cking insane' drama won’t return for a second season.

One X, formerly Twitter, penned: "A Man in Full is exactly why I don’t like limited series. Where do I go from here?"

"Right!!?? I want more!!" agreed a second while a third chimed in: "A Man in Full #Netflix you have done it again."

A fourth revealed: "I binged A Man in Full and the series is kind of a mixed bag but I was definitely entertained, quite engaged too, I don’t normally binge

Plus whatever accent Jeff Daniels chose was … well a CHOICE!"

"A Man in Full on @netflix was one of the best limited series I have ever watched. Storyline, characters and visual camera work was superb," gushed another.

And a final Twitter user added: "Jeff Daniels in A Man in Full is f*cking insane."

A Man in Full is available to stream on Netflix now.
