Love Island UK 2026 wrapped up last week (27 July), and it was Julia Majchrzak and Lorenzo Alessi who walked away with the £50,000 prize, beating fan favourites Jasmine Müller and Kavan Murphy into second place.
While they missed out on the win, Jasmine and Kavan’s rollercoaster romance kept ITV viewers hooked all series.
From early chemistry and Casa Amor drama to finding their way back to each other, they proved they could survive the villa’s biggest tests. And, since leaving, fans will no doubt be delighted to hear that the pair have stayed together, even joking that their first date back in the UK was definitely, well, unique.

Speaking on the latest episode of the NewlyParents podcast alongside fellow reality TV stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo, which dropped earlier this morning (3 August), Kavan shared that his and Jasmine's first date was not a romantic dinner, a late-night cocktail bar excursion or even a wholesome daytime coffee stroll - it was a doctor's appointment.
When asked by Jamie if they were 'in love', Jasmine gushed: "Like massive. We're like literally obsessed with each other.
"He came straight to my house when we landed."

Kavan continued: "We had like a first date. So we got off the plane in the morning. Got straight in the taxi. We had to go straight to the doctor's in central London.
He explained that she had an 'abscess' on his stomach, adding: "It was so funny. Can you imagine me and Jasmine? So I'm lying on the bed. The doctor's squeezing, Jas is sitting there watching me. I'm like screaming."
"You're in deep at this point," Sophie joked before Jas chirped: "Our first date, guys. We come off the plane. That's exactly where we went.
"The cab has all of our like seven suitcases in it. We're like in this hospital, like half asleep. Bless him. Like still in our clothes from like the night before, and he's just there, and he's like 'great'."

Sophie then piped up: "What the f*ck is the abscess?"
"It's got to be like an infection," Kavan replied as Jasmine added that it's an 'ingrown hair'.
"Like, you're on camera every day, so everyone's like shaving and waxing and shaving and waxing every day multiple times a day, then you're in the sun, and you're sweating, your pores are like getting like all weird," she explained.
Well, that's one way to get to know someone quickly!
