David Beckham sent a heartwarming olive branch out to his son Brooklyn in an emotional New Year's Eve Instagram post.
In case you need a reminder, tensions have reportedly been high in the Beckham family in recent years between David and Victoria's eldest son, 26-year-old Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, and the rest of the family.
The former footballer, 50, and 51-year-old fashion designer are parents to four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20 and their youngest, 14-year-old Harper.
However, rumours have been swirling for some time of an alleged feud, spurred on by details like Brooklyn missing his dad's 50th birthday and seemingly not spending Christmas with his parents.

Things were re-ignited last month was Cruz set the record straight about whispers that his mum and dad had unfollowed their eldest son.
He shared a screenshot of a news article to his Instagram Stories, and claimed that David and Victoria didn't unfollow Brooklyn, he actually blocked them.

"NOT TRUE," Cruz wrote, adding: "My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I."
It's the first time any of the Beckhams have addressed the supposed rift.
But, it looks like David isn't giving up hope on squashing the alleged rift as he publicly reached out with a sweet message on Wednesday (31 January).
He took to his Instagram Stories to share a series of family photos with his children, including some of Brooklyn.
Alongside a black and white throwback snap of Victoria and the four kids when they were little, he penned: "You are my life [heart emojis]. I love you all, love daddy. On to 2026 x."

He also shared a picture of himself and Brooklyn as a child, smiling cheek to cheek, and wrote: "I love you all so much."
However, if it's true that the family are all blocked, it's sadly unlikely that Brooklyn will have even seen the post.
David also shared a round-up of his year on his main Instagram grid, however, his eldest son was absent from the slideshow of photos.
He posted a collection of 20 pictures from the past 12 months, featuring family, friends, holidays, achievements and the family's dogs.

In the caption, he wrote: "I feel very lucky to have had the year I've had in 2025 full of moments that I will never forget from my 50th to my knighthood (still pinching myself) and then finishing with winning the MLS as an owner, I'm so grateful to my incredible wife, my amazing children, my friends and team I work with every single day nothing would have been possible without you all."
The sports star added: "But as Sir Alex Ferguson would say 'Onto the the next' Thank you for the incredible memories I will forever remember 2025 @victoriabeckham I love you & our kids."
Fans were quick to point out Brooklyn's absence in the post, penning: "WHERES BROOKLYN AT?" and "Sad to see your relationship with your eldest child has come to this. Hope you guys can fix it in 2026".
Meanwhile, a third bluntly wrote: "Brooklyn is clearly out of the picture."
