Victoria Beckham shared her very measured response when asked about her husband David's rumoured affair with Rebecca Loos in a brand-new interview.
The 51-year-old former Spice Girl turned fashion designer discussed the matter during an appearance on Alex Cooper's Call Her Daddy podcast, which was just released earlier today (22 October).
In the interview, Alex referenced Victoria and David's Netflix documentary, aptly titled Beckham, which hit our screens back in 2023, which saw the married couple break their silence on his alleged 'affair' with former glamour model Rebecca, saying the media attention at the time was the 'hardest period' for both of them.

Now, the couple have previously denied that David had an affair when he was playing for Real Madrid in 2003 after the rumour mill went haywire after his PA, Rebecca, who was 26 at the time, was pictured with the then 28-year-old footy star inside a nightclub.

While they didn’t speak about the alleged extramarital relationship in the docu-series, they did address the media fallout at the time.
"It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us," Victoria said. "Here’s the thing – we were against each other if I’m being completely honest.

"You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.
"But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either.
"And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.
"It was an absolute circus — and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town right? Unless you’re in it."

When asked if she 'resented' David, Victoria said: "If I’m being totally honest, yes I did. It was the most unhappy I have ever been in my entire life."
She went on to say that she 'internalised' a lot of trauma as a means of supporting her husband’s career.
"It wasn’t that I felt unheard because I was always mindful of the focus that he needed," Victoria said.

Flash-forward to now and Victoria was asked by Alex in today's podcast: "You've dealt with specualtions throughout your whole career about your marriage. I know David touched on this in the documentary. Can you just explain how you and David handled this?"
"Do you know... we’ve had so much thrown at us and we were talking about it because we’ve recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and by the way, people said it wouldn’t work..." the mum-of-four replied.

"26 years. We’ve had so much thrown at us and we’ve always just been there together and just ridden the damn storm."

However, understandably, Victoria appeared not to want to stay on the topic for long, as she soon discussed her eating disorder.
Victoria opened up about her eating disorder for the first time on her own three-part Netflix show, titled Victoria Beckham, which just came out earlier this month (9 October).
In the doc, Victoria explained that she was weighed on national television just six months after giving birth to her son, Brooklyn.
"We laugh about it, we joked about it… But I was really, really young, and that hurts," she recalled.
For Victoria, who was just 25 years old at the time, she felt an immense pressure to uphold the '90s pop star body type, which clearly took a toll on her mental health as she got older.
"I really started to doubt myself and not like myself, because I let it affect me," she shared. "I didn't know what I saw when I looked in the mirror - you lose all sense of reality. I was just very critical of myself. I didn't like what I saw.
"I've been everything from Porky Posh to Skinny Posh. It's been a lot, and that's hard."
As we say, such scrutiny led her to develop an eating disorder, which she said she struggled with in silence.
And, to this day, Victoria shared that the feeling never seems to go away, adding: "I suppose that's been with me my whole life."
