As Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are preparing to say ‘I do,’ an astrologer has delved into whether the stars are aligning for everyone’s favourite ‘English teacher and gym teacher’.
While nothing has officially been confirmed, reports claim that the pop superstar, 36, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 36, are due to tie the knot in New York City this weekend.
And it looks like they’re pulling out all the stops, as it’s been heavily rumoured that the star-studded bash will take place in Madison Square Garden, for an elaborate ceremony with over 1,000 guests.
However, even if all of the practicalities and moving parts of the day run smoothly, astrologer Inbaal Honigman has warned that there are ‘several astrological stumbling blocks to overcome’.

The dreaded Mercury Retrograde is in full swing, bringing ‘unpredictability’ and ‘disruption’ - not exactly what you need for a wedding day.
Speaking exclusively to Tyla on behalf of OLBG, the mystic explained: “The planet of communication appears to be turning backwards in the sky. This is a worry, especially around communication, and will bring an extra layer of relationship concerns on the day and far beyond.”

Honigman warned: “Saying their vows underneath a backwards Mercury is a risk, and could see years of miscommunication and misunderstanding in their love story.
“Carrying the disruptive energies of the Mercury Retrograde into their married life is certainly a choice, and one that will shine over any argument and misunderstandings in their future.”
And unfortunately, with apologies to Tay and Trav, it doesn’t stop there, as the astrologer revealed that the 4th July weekend will see Mars - the planet of war - and Uranus - the planet of disruption - meet up.
Honigman described the chaotic crossover as the ‘planetary alliance practically nobody needs in their lives'.
“Not only do those two disruptive, attention-seeking planets catch up for a chat, but they do it in the unpredictable sign of Gemini,” she explained.
Adding: “Those planets mean that things would go upside down on the day, with last-minute schedules, traffic, and unexpected pitstops interfering with proceedings.
“Even when parts of the day go smoothly, everyone will be on edge. These planets make a dress zipper decide to take a break halfway through a speech, or the groom's bladder refusing to cooperate with the event planner's timetable.”

While the wedding date isn’t the best cosmic timing, the good news is that Taylor and Travis are compatible when it comes to their Zodiac signs - and it might just help them out on their wedding day.
Honigman told Tyla that Taylor is an ‘adventurous and fun-loving Sagittarius,’ a sign that of It is ‘generosity, travel, and dreaming big,’ whereas Travis is ‘a calm and graceful Libra, with a ‘sign of elegance, balance, and acceptance’.
She explained: “They are two very different beings, who can fit together in a relationship like a yin-yang symbol, signifying opposites attract. His quiet characteristics soothe her fire, while Taylor's wild sense of humour uplifts Travis's mood.”
She revealed that during their rumoured wedding weekend, there are no planets in Libra or Sagittarius, giving them ‘a blank slate to start their marriage on’.
The astrologer added, “The stars don't favour one or the other, which is a balanced way to start their married life. It's a peaceful start. However, there is one very interesting thing in common for Taylor and Travis during their wedding weekend.
“Taylor's ruling planet is Jupiter, it is the jovial planet, ruler of Sagittarius. This planet has just entered the sunny sign of Leo a few days ago. Travis' ruling planet is Venus, it is the love planet, ruler of Libra.
“This planet has been in Leo for a couple of weeks and will leave soon.”

So, if Taylor and Travis had consulted an astrologer before setting the date, the expert thinks this ‘might have been their recommendation,’ despite the whole Mercury Retrograde drama, since there are only 10 days in total during which both his planet and her planet are in the sign of Leo.
Honigman concluded: “The fact that both of them will be under the auspicious protection of the fiery sign of the Lion, creates an even keel for the couple, it presents a marriage that starts on foundations of equality.
“Leo is an out and proud sign, public and fearless. It is a sign for the media, the socials, the press and the fans - Leo is the opposite of private, it loves getting up on stage and being public."
She theorised: "This astrological placement makes it entirely possible that this is only the public wedding, while a private ceremony had already taken place.”
