Lip reader ‘reveals’ Kylie Jenner’s four word demand to Timothée Chalamet during alleged ‘heated exchange’

The lovebirds seemed to be caught in a tense moment at the Golden Globes

The Golden Globes were a massive night for rising star Timotheé Chalamet, which saw him take home an award many thought Leonardo DiCaprio would claim for his role in One Battle After Another.

He attended the prestigious awards ceremony with his girlfriend of three years, Kylie Jenner, whom he thanked in his acceptance speech for Actor in a Musical or Comedy, as well as his other acceptance speech from the Critics' Choice Awards - both of which he won for his role in Marty Supreme.

While the couple appeared more loved up than ever in their recent public appearances, it seems this isn't enough for the critics to start pointing fingers.

Some have accused the Kylie Cosmetics founder of 'ruining' Chalamet's big moment for how she posed for a photo afterwards with her middle fingers up, for instance.

And now, a lip reader has alleged the pair had a 'heated exchange' while taking their seats at the ceremony.

It's worth taking this with a huge pinch of salt, as they seemed very happy throughout the evening, with Jenner even mouthing 'I'm so happy' when he delivered his acceptance speech.

Well, lip reader Nicola Hickling has spoken to the Daily Mail about what she claims was a thorny moment between the lovebirds earlier in the night.

As they are taking their seats, Nicola claims Chalamet asks: "Were you worried?" with her replying: "It was a bold yes," before the Call Me By Your Name star allegedly added: "You look bothered."

The lip reader claims that Jenner replies: "Not here," followed by: "You're annoying."

The pair are seen smiling broadly throughout the exchange.

In his Critics' Choice Award speech, he had said: "Thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for your foundation, I love you. I couldn't do this without you," while at the Golden Globes he added: "To my parents and partner, I love you. Thank you so much."

While they have put on a united front on the Awards circuit, the rumour mill had been swirling for a while now that they have been through some rocky patches.

A source told the Daily Mail in November last year that Chalamet was 'on the brink of calling it quits' because his 'career is skyrocketing and the last thing he wants right now is to be a father' - with Jenner being the mum of two children with her ex, rapper Travis Scott.

Break-up rumours followed, before it was confirmed they were back on again, with the same source alleging: "They cool down and they heat up."

They seem pretty happy for now, though, and hopefully the awards will keep coming for Chalamet!

TYLA has contacted reps for both Jenner and Chalamet for comment.
