Kylie Jenner has sparked a heated debate online after sharing a TikTok video ahead of a date with her partner of three years, Timothée Chalamet.
The video, captioned 'drafts ;)', saw the 28-year-old reality TV star filming a get-ready-with-me routine while on a moving plane flying to New York City in order to meet Marty Supreme star Chalamet, 30.
"Get ready with me for date night in New York," the mum-of-two began before starting her make-up routine.
Elsewhere in the TikTok video, Kylie told viewers: "This trip was very last-minute, I'm literally going for like 24 hours."

She then complained about turbulence on the plane.

Kylie then cut to a clip of her off the plane in a car as she beamed: "We're in New York for a day! I can't believe I did this, I'm so excited!"
The video's overlay text read '24 hours in NYC'.
The two-minute video, shared yesterday (10 May), has already racked up over 10.3 million views, with many rushing to the comments to share their thoughts.
One TikToker questioned: "Does anyone else feel like this is too much? Taking a private plane to visit a city for less than 24 hours to go on a date? I thought we cared about the climate, but yet everyone is cheering in the comments."

"So out of touch…" condemned a second as a third chimed in: "This is painfully out of touch."
A fourth hit out: "Imagine using a plane like a damn taxi."
And a final critic lamented: "I find it so weird how billionaires can just live knowing how sh*tty the world is lol."

Others, however, saw things differently.
"You may have a point. However, the amount of corporations that cause much, much, much more damage to our climate and nobody says anything about them or boycotts them. We don’t need to continuously buy garbage from Amazon, TikTok shop, Target, etc. We need to put our money where our mouth is and sadly we don’t. We’re busy consuming," defended one person.
A second agreed: "Thisss! People like to complain, but what exactly are they doing for the environment? Supporting big corporations also adds to the cause. No one is innocent, including us, unfortunately."
Another echoed: "Put action behind your words and not by leaving comments on Kylie’s page putting lip gloss on."
And a final TikToker outlined: "We can start by not supporting both out-of-touch celebs AND the corps. And stop deflecting responsibility of each one when they’re being addressed directly. We need first-hand accountability, not an attention shift in these moments."
