Timothée Chalamet awkwardly avoids question about Kylie Jenner despite Golden Globes PDA

Can you believe it's been a year since Timothée Chalamet was first spotted locking lips with Kylie Jenner at the 2024 Golden Globes?

Apparently, neither can the actor - who awkwardly avoided a question about his reality star other-half during their joint appearance at this year's film and TV celebration last night.

For those in need of refresher, 29-year-old Timothée and 27-year-old Kylie confirmed their long-rumoured romance at last year's Golden Globes ceremony with some pretty heavy PDA.

After arriving separately onto the red carpet, the pair opted to sit together in the audience and were spotted planting a series of kisses onto one another's lips and cheeks throughout the prestigious awards show.

A viral moment also saw them deep in an intimate conversation - whispers which one lip reader interpreted to be the couple telling one another that they 'loved' and 'cared' about each other.

Such was also the case during this year's ceremony - during which Timothée was nominated for his starring role in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.

Footage from the evening saw The Kardashians star and mother-of-two Kylie take a snap of her man with an old-school digital camera, sending thousands rushing to social media to share their reactions.

One Twitter user penned, 'Me if Timothée Chalamet was my bf', and another added: "They’re so cute idc what people say".

However, despite their loved-up appearance, Timothée chose not to mention Kylie when asked later on in the evening by an Entertainment Tonight reporter about the 'support' that was there for him 'in the room'.

"You also have your partner-in-crime Kylie here here too, what's it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?" the journalist asked in the now-viral video.

Avoiding eye contact, the Wonka actor then replied: "It's a great feeling to be in a room with so much love and so many great peers, and people that are fantastic."

Without referencing his girlfriend, he smirked before adding: "I like seeing the new wave and the new generation here, and I also like seeing everyone that's been holding it down for decades plus."

The pair were first romantically linked in 2023 following reports from TMZ that social media star Kylie's car had been photographed outside of Timothée's home.
