Caitlyn Jenner makes rare comment about daughter Kylie's relationship with Timothée Chalamet

For the first time, Caitlyn Jenner offered up her thoughts on youngest daughter Kylie Jenner's romance with Timothée Chalamet.

Catching up with reporters at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday (14 Jan), the I Am Cait star provided a gushy statement about the couple, who've been together for three years.

For those in need of a reminder, make-up guru Kylie, 28, was first linked to American-French actor Timothée, 30, in April 2023, following the former's split from rapper ex Travis Scott. The pair were first spotted attending a Beyoncé concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles together in September 2023, and more recently, Kylie joined her new beau at the Golden Globes.

Keeping up with tradition, the reality TV star - who shares daughter Stormi, seven, and son Aire, three, with Travis - has been standing by the Marty Supreme actor's side on the red carpet since.

This included last weekend, when Timothée walked away with the Lead Actor in a Comedy or Musical accolade.

During his acceptance speech, the film star gave a special shout-out to his 'partner', telling Kylie, 'I love you, thank you so much'.

Weeks earlier, whilst also receiving a Critics Choice Award, Timothée said of the brunette beauty: "Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn't do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Appreciate it."

And apparently, the 30-year-old's latest declaration of love has gone down a treat with Kylie's loved ones, as Caitlyn has since given her approval.

"I just want my daughter to be happy," the 76-year-old told press this week. "And she is, and I like that."

Revealing that she'd recently had the pleasure of meeting Timothée, the former Olympian also went on to describe him as a 'great kid' and 'phenomenal actor'.

"And he’s very good to Kylie," she went on to gush. "Even more important."

Caitlyn isn't the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to give the movie star a thumbs-up, with Kylie's mother Kris including him in one of her family's Christmas traditions.

In a snap shared over the festive period, the mother-of-six displayed the names of her children and their respective partners on a gingerbread house, saving a special spot for Timothée.

Days later, Kris, 70, also shared an Instagram snap of herself, wearing a red and white jacket with the words 'Marty Supreme' written across the front.

"Greatest movie ever!!!" she gushed in the caption, making sure to tag Timothée.
