Taylor Swift fans lost their minds and broke the internet this week when the singer dropped the bombshell that she and Travis Kelce are engaged.
For those who somehow missed it, on Tuesday (26 August), the singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35, took to Instagram to share the exciting shock news.
In a joint post, which has now racked up more than 34 million likes, the celebrity couple shared a slew of stunning pictures of Travis getting down on one knee in a flower garden.
The caption read: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," along with a dynamite emoji, which accurately sums up the world's reaction to the development.

The 'Bad Blood' hitmaker, whose twelfth studio album The Life Of A Showgirl is set to be released in October, also included a snap of her dazzling ring, which jewellers are valuing as up to $2 million.

Since Tay and Trav shared their happy update, fans of the pair have understandably been going wild, gushing about how delighted they are for the singer as she's found 'the one'.
At the same time though, others have pointed out one big realisation they've had since the NFL star popped the big question - no more break-up, or as one fan calls them, 'crash-out songs'.

That's right, with Taylor on cloud nine and in a happy relationship, soon to be married, some fans are upset that they might miss out on future heartbreak tracks since her music is often inspired by her own life.
One Twitter user shared a video of the songstress performing the 10-minute-long version of her hit All Too Well during the Eras Tour, which is famously speculated to be about Jake Gyllenhaal.
They penned alongside it: "Realizing that Taylor Swift is getting married means we might never get another masterpiece of a situationship crash out song like this."
Meanwhile a second wrote: "Taylor Swift tying the knot is not on my bingo list. Wdym she will not be heartbroken and writes us more breakup songs."

And a third chimed in with: "Don’t get me wrong I’m happy for Taylor swift. But I can’t help but yearn for her breakup songs knowing there won’t be anymore now."

However, others have pointed out that her 'imagination is vivid' and 'she's a storyteller' so she can, of course, keep releasing music about different things, despite not experiencing it herself.
Someone wrote: "Yes but imagine all the glorious songs that will come with this era .. don't get me wrong this is my cathartic go to song and I'm thankful for its existence all the time."

And another added: "True songwriters can draw on past experiences or through empathy of others, I wouldn't worry about it."
While someone else agreed: "How many do we need honestly? She made TTPD which is full of crashout songs."
And a fourth quipped: "Who cares, I'd rather have a happy Taylor. Besides she can write anything well."
