Taylor Swift loses her mind as NSYNC reunites for the first time in a decade at the MTV VMAs

Taylor Swift totally lost her mind as *NSYNC reunited at the MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs).

The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer was a relatable queen as the boyband came onto the stage to present the Best Pop award at tonight’s ceremony in Newark, New Jersey.

Made up of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass, this was *NYSNC’s first reunion in 10 years.

And Swift was all of us as she reacted to the '90s boyband taking to the stage.

She was straight up and standing from her seat, screaming and cheering for them – in total disbelief they were together.

To be honest, Swift seemed even more excited about the ‘Bye Bye Bye’ singers than the fact that she won the award they were presenting.

The ‘Bad Blood’ star confessed to being a big fan, admitting (like many '90s babies) that she had the ‘dolls’ of the band.

Looks like they are fans of her too, as they handed over a friendship bracelet, which is a nod to the tradition that’s sweeping her Eras Tour shows.

Swift admitted to being unable to contain her excitement as she collected the award award.

Wondering just what had prompted *NYSNC’s reunion she said: “Are you doing something? What’s going to happen now?”

She just couldn’t cope as she said to the crowd of music fans and celebrities: “They’re doing something and I need to know what it is.”

And, if our hopes come true, she might just be right, there’s rumours the boyband is in fact doing something.

There has been a lot of speculation that *NYSNC has new music that is set to come out soon.

If they do indeed drop a track then it would be their first release since 2002.

That’s two whole decades. Not that we’re counting…

Timberlake is of course the voice of Branch in the Trolls movies, and there’s speculation his old boyband will have something in the upcoming Trolls Band Together movie.

Reacting on X, fans wrote: “Taylor fangirling over NSYNC she’s so real for this.”

Another put: “Taylor Swift is so me.”

And one said: “My little 13yr old @NSYNC heart was screaming!!!! Give me my Nsync Reunion!! The music industry missed you.”

And scooping up her second award for Song of the Year for ‘Anti-Hero’, she said she’s ‘millennial triggered’ by the choice of presenters tonight with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland taking the stage.
