Taylor Swift makes cryptic change and fans have speculated the hidden meaning
Taylor Swift fans have noticed she has cryptically changed a quote on her social media pages and naturally, Swifties have immediately launched a full-scale investigation.
The singer is famous for planting Easter eggs ahead of major announcements, so when fans spotted a suspicious little change in her bio on Tuesday (22 September), it didn't take long for the internet to descend into chaos.
The new bio reads: “And, baby, that’s Sh0w business f0r y0u.” And yes, those three very conspicuous zeroes could be hinting at something major.
Fans are already convinced there’s a deeper meaning behind the seemingly random switch, with theories ranging from a fresh start and spiritual reset to (because this is Taylor Swift we’re talking about) a secret album announcement lurking just around the corner.

One theory doing the rounds suggests that “000” represents infinite potential, a new beginning and a spiritual reset.
“Oh her Ray of Light is coming,” one fan declared, referencing Madonna’s iconic 1998 album.
“WAIT!!! 000 means fresh start, debut first album and reputation was a fresh start after the hate,” another Swiftie wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
And then came the inevitable midnight theory: “00:00? Next announcement at midnight?”
“What the f*** is going on?” another excited fan asked, perhaps summing up the collective state of the Swiftie fandom rather perfectly.
“It’s happening!!!” another declared, before immediately admitting: “Except IDK what it is?!?!?!”
And, in perhaps the most relatable reaction of them all, one fan simply asked: “What does 000 MEANNNN”
Taylor has also been nominated for a brand-new MTV VMA category, one that did not exist until this week.
The pop star is already the second-most nominated artist at this year’s ceremony, trailing only Madonna, who leads the pack with 13 nominations.
But with the ceremony still days away, Taylor can apparently start clearing space for another award while Swifties await a new album.
She is the inaugural recipient of the MTV VMA Artist Director Honors. According to MTV and CBS, the shiny new honour is reserved for a musician whose work behind the camera has “expanded the possibilities of music video and advanced the art of visual.”
She has directed 15 of her own music videos, including “Anti-Hero”, “Bejeweled”, “Opalite” and “The Fate of Ophelia”.
The new honour will make Taylor the most-awarded artist in VMA history, breaking her current tie with Beyoncé, with both women currently sitting on 30 wins.
Beyoncé’s tally includes Video of the Year for “Formation”, the groundbreaking visual from her boundary-pushing album Lemonade.
Meanwhile, Madonna is the most nominated artist at this year's ceremony, picking up 13 nominations for her critically acclaimed long-form music video, which accompanied her album Confessions II this summer.
Taylor has had a busy year and back in July she tied the knot with Travis Kelce in a star-studded ceremony at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
The guest list included 1,000 people with many famous names from the worlds of music, film, TV and sport.
Details from the ceremony have been scarce and no official photos have been released yet.
