'Selenators' across the globe are today heaping praise onto Benny Blanco for including an uber-personal detail in his proposal to Selena Gomez.
After news of the couples engagement was broken on social media yesterday (11 Dec), it didn't take long for eagle-eyed fans of the couple to take a closer look at the ins and outs of the romantic move, with only a handful clocking onto the sweet gesture in question.
For those out of the loop with the latest news, Selena and Benny announced their plans to tie the knot on Instagram earlier this week, having been dating publicly for the last 18 months.

According to 36-year-old music producer Benny, however, they'd actually boasted a firm friendship for several years beforehand, but only took their relationship to the next level in June last year when Selena, 32, asked him on a date.
It was also the Only Murders In The Building actress that first broke the news that Benny had gotten down on one knee, sharing a sweet carousel of snaps from the special day.
Selena captioned the gorgeous collection, 'Forever begins now...', with Benny going on to gush in the comments, 'Hey wait… that’s my wife.'
One pic showed exactly how Benny had set the scene, with a picnic having been laid out in the park and a basket filled with Taco Bell takeaway goodies - an ode to Selena's favourite restaurant.

Another showed the happy couple embracing tightly in a gorgeous display of love, whilst the remaining two snaps saw Selena showing her the colossal rock that Benny had placed onto her finger.
It has now emerged, however, that the rapper's choice of ring wasn't just a happy - and extremely pricey - surprise for Mrs Blanco-to-be.
It turns out that Benny had thought carefully about the jewellery that best suited the special occasion.

Fans have since pointed out that Selena's engagement ring is actually a marquise diamond - an elongated elliptical-shaped stone with pointed ends - which also happens to be mentioned in her hit track 'Good For You', recorded with A$AP Rocky in 2015.
"I'm in my marquise diamond / I'm in my marquise diamond," she sings.
And as we say, the sweet move that Benny pulled hasn't gone unnoticed by some die-hard fans of the couple, who've heaped praise over his thoughtfulness.
"So is this how they’re getting engaged now? with song lyrics as inspiration? classy move but kinda extra," one penned on social media, as another gushed: "Selena's ring is a stunning sweet gesture."

"I never checked the lyrics to this song, in today years old knowing this was what it meant," a third admitted.
"The BEST CUT for a ring oh I know she’s a bad b***hhhhhh," another teased.
It isn't just Selena's fans that are over the moon with the news, however, with a horde of celebrities also offering up their congratulatory wishes to the happy couple.

Selena's BFF Taylor Swift said: "Yes I will be the flower girl."
"Waiiiitttt hold on,” surmised rapper Cardi B, while Gwyneth Paltrow said: "SELENAAAAAAA.”
And Suki Waterhouse added: "Congratulations beauty!"
