Selena Gomez sparks disgust over reaction to Benny Blanco's 'dirty' feet

Last week, Benny Blanco inadvertently hit headlines when a video of his unwashed feet began spreading on social media.

This week, his wife, Selena Gomez, has also amassed similarly unwanted attention for her reaction to the musician's tarnished trotters.

For those who missed it, fans of 37-year-old Blanco caught an involuntary sneak peek at his toes following the release of his brand new podcast, Friends Keep Secrets.

Hosted alongside Dave Burd ('Lil Dicky') and the rapper's wife, Kristin Batalucco, the debut episode of the 'first-of-its-kind show' landed on Tuesday (24 February). The premise of the show is an 'intimate hang with the hosts' real-life friendships and the guests that pop in', with 18 hidden cameras rigged throughout Dave and Kristin's Los Angeles home.

Prior to releasing the episode, the trio of hosts promised fans the show would blend the elements of a 'podcast, livestream, and sitcom', and definitely 'isn't a formal interview show'.

That much before clear, just a few moments into the episode, when music producer Blanco was seen splayed out on the couple's sofa, the blackened bottoms of his feet on full display.

One X user subsequently hit out: "He's got some questionable hygiene practices. Another agreed, adding: "Look at his feet. I’m dead."

On Reddit, a third user noted: "Omg his feet are way too dirty to be on the couch."

And after the episode was uploaded to YouTube, a fourth viewer jibed in the comments: "Good podcast, wash your feet, Benny, and wash the floors."

In the days since the release of the debut instalment, a second episode has landed, once again honing in on Blanco's rotten tootsies.

The star's wife, Only Murders In The Building actress Selena Gomez, also features in the follow-up clip, where she is seen kissing the tips of his toes.

Seemingly referencing the uproar his feet caused during the last ep, 33-year-old Gomez leans in to land a peck before Blanco smiles. She then warns him, 'Don't make it a moment’.

Unsurprisingly, the move has once again drawn attention to the couple, with several social media users condemning Gomez's apparent dirty foot fetish.

"Please tell me this is AI," one begged.

Another joked: "I hope this s**t don't play in my head during my last moments of living."

"Lol that foot is still dirty asf though, disgusting.." a third went on. "Instead of kissing them she should wash those dirty feet."
