Benny Blanco has come under fire for an admission he made this week about his relationship with Selena Gomez.
After speaking to YouTube star Kai Cenat on a livestream this week, the US musician has been accused of 'embarrassing' his other half.
For those out of the loop with the A-list romance, actress Selena and producer Benny first confirmed their love back in December 2023, sharing a sweet snap on Instagram while wearing a ring with the initial 'B'.

It wasn't until a few weeks later, however, that Selena, 32, revealed they'd been dating for significantly longer than we may have first thought, making it known in response to a social media troll that it had already 'been six months bb.'
Until this week, fans of the celebrity power couple hadn't actually known the ins and outs of the early days of their romance.
It took for 36-year-old Benny to appear on a social media stream for the tea to finally be spilt.
And after it was, fans were left divided, with many accusing the hit-maker of 'outing' his other-half by claiming she was into him long before he was into her.

"Our first date when we were like, asking each other on a date, she asked me out. It was crazy!" he told online presenter Cenat this week.
"She literally asked me out. Like, we were just talking, and then she was like, 'Oh, do you want to get dinner?'.
"And I went to dinner. I've been friends with her for years - we've been friends for like, 10 years plus. Maybe 15.
"I met her when she was so much younger."
Benny went on to explain: "We were just talking, and then she was like, 'Oh, let's go get dinner tomorrow', and I was like, 'Oh, I'm going to this thing with my friends, why don't you come hang out with me first and then we'll go link for dinner?'.
"So, we just went - we got a drink first - and I didn't even realise we were on a date, and she was like, 'I would have worn something different to this date'.
"And I was like, 'Wait, what? We're on a date?'. I had no idea.
"And then she left early because she had to go somewhere - to film a video the next day - and then we hung out like, two days later.
"I was like, 'yo, I think she likes me', and then I literally just kissed her, and the rest is history. Every day together - as many days as we can.
"She's my best friend. Actual best friend."
As we say, however, not every listener was thrilled to hear Benny implying that Selena had feelings first.
"he has had 100 chances to embarrass her and he hasnt missed a single one," one hit out.
Another then jibed: "is she in a humiliation ritual"
"I refuse to believe that unless she says something," a third claimed.
Another noted: "He jumps at every opportunity to let us know this."
Others, however, have jumped to the musician's defence, insisting there was nothing wrong with the comment.
"Y’all are clowning but they seem cute and happy to me," one penned.
Another added: "only weird accounts answer negatively. he tells the truth he is totally in love you can see that from 10 kilometers away"
"That's an interesting twist! It's great to see such genuine connections, especially with someone like Selena," a third continued.
