Selena Gomez praised by fans over one major detail from her bachelorette party

Snaps from Selena Gomez’s bachelorette party are going viral - and fans are all saying the same thing as the icon gears up to marry music producer Benny Blanco.

On Friday (August 29), 33-year-old Disney icon uploaded a slew of photographs from her hen-do in Cabo San Lucas to Instagram.

The carousel depicted herself and a handful of her nearest and dearest friends living it up in the Mexican beauty spot, drinking cocktails and wearing clothes embellished with 'S+B' and 'Blanco loading'.

In one snap, Selena was spotted wearing what appeared to be a pearl-embroidered halterneck dress with a white bridal veil placed in her hair.

Another image shared from the hen night depicted the smiling star under a balloon banner spelling out ‘Mrs’ and the surname of her husband-to-be, 'Levin'.

Selena became engaged to 37-year-old Benny - whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin - in December 2024 when the hitmaker popped the question with a stunning diamond ring.

Since then, fans have been lapping up any form of wedding detail and have recently taken to social media to have their say on the Mexican-based fiesta.

One thing many ‘Selenators’ have said is that it’s ‘refreshing’ to see a glimpse of such a ‘chill’ pre-marriage party.

“I love the mirror selfie with the messy bathroom [in] the background, bathing suits and towels laying around,” said one fan via Reddit. “Something about that is so endearing.”

A second commented: “They don’t look like everything was just put together for likes and content and to show off, like what I‘d expect from other celebrities and social media personalities.”

Another claimed the images showed how ‘relatable’ the Wizards of Waverly Place actress was, while someone else typed: “All of those are def her real friends, no celebs or perfect photoshoots. I love this. I hope she had a great time.”

A fifth, who agreed with previous sentiments, added: “It’s so refreshing to see a celebrity with (relatively) normal looking friends doing something that looks similar to what us normal people would put together.

“I’m sure it cost a LOT of money still. But not as unapproachable as what I’d expect from most celebrities. It also looks like they had a blast. I‘m happy for her.”

Selena and Benny are yet to publicly announce a wedding date, but have said they’re willing to scrap a major wedding tradition when they eventually say ‘I do’.

Speaking on an episode of the Table Manners podcast with Jessie and Lennie Ware, the Rare Beauty founder admitted they would probably pass on a first dance.

"I don’t think we’re looking at having one of those 'cause they’re a little... I feel embarrassed'.

“She’s shy,” chimed in Benny.

However, Selena did say she’d like to have a ‘special dance’ with her grandfather on her mother’s side because he ‘never had the chance’ to walk her mom down the aisle.

“Because, good for my mum, she decided to go to [Las] Vegas and be like, 'Whoo,' and she’s still been with [my father] ever since they were like 26," she explained.

"So it’s very cute that they did that, but I wanted to give [my grandfather] the opportunity to have that."
