Fans have been left concerned for A Place in the Sun star Scarlette Douglas after she rushed herself to A&E.

The TV presenter took to Instagram yesterday (14 March) to share a health update with her 75.6k followers on her egg-freezing journey.

Scarlette opened up about the ordeal and how it first started when she noticed some 'tingling' and 'numbing' in her limbs.

Scarlette has been recently sharing her story with fans, detailing her scans and blood tests as well as posting clips of and explaining her daily injections.

In the latest video diary entry, she began: "I'm hosting an awards show today which means that in my break I'll be running to the toilet here and glamorously doing one of my injections.

"I have noticed over the last few days I've been getting like a slight numbing tingling sensation in my left arm and a little bit in my left leg.

"It feels like a dead arm, dead leg, you know when you sleep on something funny.

"So at first I was thinking that's probably what it is, but then obviously Doctor Google freaked me out and made me think that it could be something worse."

The 36-year-old I'm A Celebrity star continued: "So I did call the clinic today, they said I need to get to A&E when I can.

"Just to triple check everything's okay so I will be doing that after the award show tonight.

"Make sure I don't have any blood clots and also to make sure there is no ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome going on."

Scarlette added: "Now I did only have a scan on Tuesday and that showed that actually everything was fine.

"So I'm sure it's nothing to worry about but if you have been through this process and if you have noticed that as well let me know."

She captioned the clip: "Day 14… sure I’m fine buuuut just want to be safe and assured!"

Fans have since rushed in to share their concern and support for Scarlette, with one Instagram user writing: "Fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about!"

A second penned: "Hope everything goes OK and all is well, keep us updated!"

"Good luck, fingers crossed!" echoed a third, while a fourth chimed in: "Wishing you well and have a great evening. Looking amazing!"

And, a final Instagram user echoed: "Keep safe Scarlette hope u ok darling sending hugs and love and cuddles darling cuddles."
