Critics of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's controversial eight-figure wedding have turned their attention to Kylie Jenner, accusing her of breaking a crucial aspect of the dress code.
The much-loved reality TV star was among the plethora of huge-name stars to receive an invite to the lavish Venetian festivities over the weekend, alongside several other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
With sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and their mother, Kris, the group were seen clambering onto a series of motorboats on Saturday to attend Amazon boss Bezos and FOX journalist Sánchez's big day.
The billionaire pair previously came under mass criticism for how much dough they decided to drop on their grand Venice soiree.

It was revealed last week that their nuptials has set Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, back between a staggering $10 and $20 million. This amounts to at least $50,000 per guest.
One of those guests was Kylie Cosmetics CEO and 27-year-old billionaire Kylie Jenner.

The mother-of-two has divided opinion this week after several photos of her wedding guest outfit began trending online, showing Jenner donning what appears to be a white corset gown.

Her dress was described by fashion publication InStyle as a 'creamy white frock that featured a daringly-low plunging neckline, spaghetti straps, black bow details, lace accents throughout, a corset bodice, and a slinky silhouette'.
I know what you're thinking, 'White?!'.
Well, after photos of the star went viral on social media, a number of critics thought the same thing.
"Yes. Not appropriate," one Instagram user alleged.

"Bad idea for sure," wrote another agreed.

Others, however, pointed out that the 'don't wear white to a wedding' traditionally stands in cases where the bride is getting married for the first time, which Sánchez is not.
The broadcaster was previously wed to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares a son and a daughter. She also shares her eldest son with former National Football League tight-end Tony Gonzalez.

One social media user wrote: "Pretty sure grey/silver is not considered white. Also pretty sure Lauren doesn’t give a s**t.
"I don’t think anyone would mistake her for a bride," jibed a second in Jenner's defence.
A third added: "But it was not white, it was clearly LIGHT GRAY."
An etiquette expert, however, told Tyla that anything close to white is a no-go for wedding guests.

"Traditionally, white symbolised purity and innocence, helping the bride stand out - especially in past centuries," Grant Harrold told us, on behalf of Prime Casino.

"Queen Victoria famously popularised the white wedding dress in the Victorian era.
"Before then, brides often wore ivory or even coloured dresses."
He continued: "Today, it's generally considered inappropriate for guests to wear white, off-white, cream, pale yellow, or anything too close to the bride's dress colour, as it can appear you're trying to compete with or draw attention away from her."
