Kim Kardashian fans have been left outraged after seeing her 12-year-old daughter North West's new 'high-risk' piercing.

There has been quite a lot of backlash online for some time now regarding Kim's parenting choices when it comes to raising her four children, which she shares with her ex-husband, Kanye West: North, 12, Saint, 10, seven-year-old Chicago and six-year-old Psalm.

North's fashion and beauty choices in particular have been a heated discussion for quite some time now, following fan concerns over controversial face jewellery, her recent SKIMS campaign and her fake face tattoos get-up just being a handful of instances.

And, of course, there's all the discourse over her 'high-risk' dermal piercing on her finger.

North has since decided to add to her growing number of piercings and has appeared to get a second finger piercing.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (12 January), she showed off what appeared to be two more finger piercings joining the other one she has on her middle finger.

After catching light of the new piercing, fans rushed to social media to, once again, share their opinion on the pre-teen's body modification choices as well as Kim's parenting.

"Get ready for infections," jabbed one Instagram user, as a second questioned: "Don't you have to be a certain age to get piercings?"

A third chimed in: "12-year-olds getting body mods whilst I was crying over not being able to see the Jonas brothers or go to Limited Too / Build-a-Bear with my friends, buy a Tamagotchi. What is happening?"

"I'm all about the goofy hair and fun makeup. But, just my opinion, piercings should happen at a later age," lamented a fourth as a fifth slammed: "Finger piercings at 12 is crazy."

Not everyone thought the finger piercing was real; however, with a final Instagram user speculating: "I think it's fake."

North's no stranger to responding to online comments about her after recently responding to the backlash to her controversial finger piercing and calling people out for not minding their own business.

On her and her mum's shared TikTok account, @kimandnorth, North lip-synced to a popular trending sound which says: "Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together."

Written over the video was the text: "This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing."

Tyla has reached out to Kim Kardashian's representatives for comment.
