Meghan Trainor shot to fame with her songs celebrating curves, with 'All About That Bass' inspiring women to love themselves. But after opening up about her Mounjaro use, the star has been attracting backlash from fans.
The singer has previously been vocal about using GLP-1 medication and has praised Mounjaro for contributing to her new look.
On Instagram, she told fans: “I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy, and I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
She also revealed her husband, Daryl Sabara, was also using the jab as the couple do 'everything together.'

The 31-year-old looked unrecognisable at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles, decked out in a white ballgown with matching gloves.

Fans shared their confusion online, with one asking: "Who is this? Seriously?"
“The same woman that said ‘I won’t be no stick figure silicone barbie doll,'” slammed another X (formerly Twitter) user.
Another added: “Seeing her so skinny is so weird.. I gotta get used to it" said one commenter, while another joked: "Meghan went to the trainer."
On Instagram, one commented: "I thought this was Paris Hilton."
One defended: "Every human should go on a transformative journey. Amazes me how many of y'all all expect other people and yourself to remain stuck in the same place for your entire lives."
The mum-of-two faced a backlash for changing the lyrics to her smash hit song to reflect her changing figure.

Instead of singing the famed line “Yeah, it’s pretty clear: I ain’t no size 2,” she instead switched it out to: "Yeah, it’s pretty clear: I got some new boobs.”
As well as working out and using Mounjaro, the star also underwent a boob job after 'having two kids, living a healthier lifestyle and losing weight'.
In her new song, she addresses the controversy with lyrics saying 'Said I was too thick, now I got way too thin' and talking about 'stretchmarks on her skin' but insisting she doesn't care in the chorus.
One fan hit back: "You did base your entire identity on All About That Bass and female empowerment, and the second you could get your hands on medication meant for diabetics... you took it. You can see how people might find you a bit disingenuous."
"The issue isn't that she slimmed down," insisted one, "the issue is that she profited off a group of people by promoting a lifestyle only to change it up the second it became advantageous to do so. It's like someone promoting clean energy while flying a gas guzzling private jet 1000 times a year."
Tyla has reached out to Trainor's reps for comment.
