Why Megan Fox’s silence on recent birth announcement with Machine Gun Kelly isn’t surprising

Despite Megan Fox going through labour this week, it was her ex-fiancée Machine Gun Kelly who broke the news that the former couple had welcomed a beautiful baby girl.
So, why hasn't the actress spoken out on the joyous news?
Well, as it turns out, there might be a few reasons why 38-year-old Megan has resisted sharing a loved-up statement yet.

For those out of the loop, MGK - real name Colson Baker - broke the news of their new addition yesterday (27 Mar), revealing that the Transformers actress had given birth to a daughter.
The actress - who is already mum to three sons, Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, eight, from her marriage to ex-husband Brian Austin Green - announced her pregnancy in November.
She posted a picture of herself holding the bump at the time, tagging the rockstar rapper's handle in the picture to confirm he was the father, following months of speculation regarding the status of their relationship.
Revealing she'd welcomed a daughter, MGK, 34, shared a video of the newborn tot with the caption: "She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed."
As we say, since news hit the headlines, some fans of the ex couple were left wondering, 'why hasn't Megan shared anything?'
Whilst her representatives haven't issued a statement on the matter, the confusing nature of she and her ex's relationship might serve as a reason why the mother-of-four has remained silent.
After striking up a romance over the summer of 2020, the pair announced their engagement in January two years later.
Despite getting both a cat and matching tattoos together in the months that followed, 2023 was riddled with talk of a break-up - so much so, that the movie star was forced to release a statement, slamming cheating rumours as 'baseless'.
By March of last year, however, they'd called off their engagement, telling Call Her Daddy podcast listeners: "I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se.
"What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what.
"I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow. Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain."
Despite announcing their pregnancy in the months that followed, by December 2024, both PEOPLE and TMZ reported that the pair had split up for good. And since then, Megan's lips have been sealed.
Maybe she's afraid her daughter's birth could open up a can of worms when it comes to her relationship status?
Or, maybe she's just knackered after labour?
Who knows?
