Liam Hemsworth confirms engagement to model Gabriella Brooks leaving fans saying the same thing

Liam Hemsworth has just confirmed his engagement to model Gabriella Brooks and it's left fans all saying the exact same thing.

Brooks, who has been dating the 35-year-old Aussie actor, famous for starring in blockbuster smash-hits like The Hunger Games, Land of Bad and Lonely Planet for nearly six years, has taken to social media to share the exciting news.

She posted three photos in the Instagram announcement.

The first was a loved-up black and white shot of the soon-to-be newlyweds posing with the ring, while the second was a stunning sunset in front of rolling waves.

However, it was the third snap which seemingly caught people's attention as it featured a close-up shot of the 29-year-old's engagement bling - a square-cut diamond bezel ring.

After catching light of the announcement, fans rushed online to share their thoughts - namely rushing in to praise Hemsworth and his taste in jewellery.

"He has good ring taste," praised one Reddit user.

A second chimed in: "He does, Miley's ring was gorgeous too."

"She had a gorgeous ring!" gushed a third.

Amidst all the ring praise was a bunch of congratulatory messages from fans, with one Instagram user gushing: "So thrilled for you and Liam! Congratulations, here’s to a fabulous life shared together!"

"Omggggg congratulations angel!!!!! So incredibly happy for you!" beamed a second while another piped up: "Nothing makes me happier…Love you legends!"

And a final fan echoed: "STUNNING!! I love you sooooo much, I couldn’t be more thrilled for you both!"

At the time of writing, Hemsworth himself hasn't shared an engagement post which almost reflects the couple's private approach they’ve taken to their romance.

A few years back, Brooks explained how she wanted their relationship to remain 'sacred' to them.

"My personal relationship is very, very important and very sacred to me," Brooks told Australia’s Daily Telegraph’s Stellar magazine in 2021.

"And I feel like in an industry where so much is put out on show, there are some things you just want to keep to yourself. I completely understand [the interest in our relationship]. But at the end of the day, I guess I just like having that for me."

Hemsworth was previously married to Miley Cyrus after first meeting while filming the 2010 romantic drama The Last Song.

The pair went on to wed in December 2018 but they split just eight months later, finalising their divorce in January 2020.

Miley has since likewise moved on and has been dating Liily drummer Maxx Morando since 2021.
