Kylie Jenner has been issued a lawsuit from her former personal chef, who claims that her intense workload caused her to suffer a miscarriage.
The bombshell suit, which was filed on Monday (22 June) in the Los Angeles Supreme Court, sees the complainant allege that she routinely worked long 11 to 12-hour shifts, five days a week.
She alleges that she was given physically demanding work to do, despite making supervisors aware of her high-risk pregnancy, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.
As per the publication, who have reviewed the documents, the woman was chosen to work as a private chef for Jenner around Thanksgiving 2024.

Shortly after, in December, she alleges that she told her supervisors, who are also defendants in the lawsuit, that she was three months pregnant.
She claims she told them that she ‘required reasonable accommodations to protect her health and pregnancy’.

However, according to the lawsuit, not long after this, on New Year’s Eve of the same year, the woman claims that her supervisors told her to ‘lift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance’.
The suit also claims that they had been hostile to her.
After going ahead with the heavy lifting, the woman alleges that she ‘became dizzy, began choking and gasping for air, and required assistance from security personnel, who intervened by providing water and aid’.
The second reported instance happened in on 1 February, 2025 when the former chef was five months pregnant.
She was assigned to work at the reality TV star’s child’s birthday party in Palm Springs, however, she claims she wasn’t provided ‘adequate support’ and was ignored by supervisors when she asked for help with the workload.
The lawsuit reads: “Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event. That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”

The lawsuit outlines that the next morning, she woke up experiencing severe haemorrhaging and drove herself to the emergency room, where tragically, she ‘was informed that there was no detectable heartbeat and that she had lost her unborn child’.
She says that despite informing her supervisors of the miscarriage, she was accused of ‘leaving the kitchen and refrigerator in disarray following the Palm Springs event’.
The filing alleges that she again suffered severe haemorrhaging days later on 8 February and collapsed in her bathroom, after which she suffered ‘severe depression and emotional distress’.
The woman claims that a supervisor told her off, specifically saying: “Stop it, just stop it. You are upsetting Kylie. You are making her depressed.”
The woman’s attorney, Della Shaker, told The Times: “Celebrity status does not exempt anyone from California’s employment laws. We look forward to presenting the evidence in court and allowing the facts to speak for themselves.”

The chef also alleges that she was ‘wrongfully terminated’ from the job and is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
This is the third lawsuit to be filed against Jenner in recent months by her former staff, as in April, two separate suits were issued by former housekeepers.
Angelica Hernandez Vasquez claimed she was subjected to 'severe and pervasive harassment' and 'hostility and exclusion' while employed by Jenner between September 2024 and August 2025.
While Juana Delgado Soto’s complaint alleges racial discrimination, harassment, failure to pay wages, and failure to prevent or remedy harassment and discrimination.
