Kylie Jenner has revealed that she has a very expensive tradition with her mum, Kris Jenner - and it’s left people divided.
The 28-year-old reality TV star and business owner appeared on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast in a new episode that was released on Thursday (14 May), where she talked about ‘relatable’ things like pregnancy side effects and her favourite video game to play.
However, there’s one moment that fans have branded not quite so down to Earth, and it’s all to do with her gifting habits with ‘momager’ Kris, 70.
She explained: “I got my first bag from my mommy I think, for my 18th birthday. Most of my new bags now are from my mom. It's our love language. Christmas, Birkin. Birthday, Birkin. And we just, back and forth, back and forth."

The superstar gushed: "Isn't that beautiful?”
For those of us who can afford to drop thousands on a bag for every special occasion, I’m sure it is.

FYI, a Birkin bag is a highly exclusive luxury handbag produced by French retailer Hermès.
As per MyGemma, Birkin bags typically range from $10,400 to $2 million, depending on the style, colour and design.
They also have an exclusive element as they’re produced in limited quantities, and so are not easy to come by.
As per Vogue, after reaching out to the store, you could be waiting months or years for the right style to become available.
Discussing Kylie’s relationship with her mother, Shane said: “Well, when I spoke to [Kris] at Vanity Fair [Oscar Party], she did say you were her favorite kid right now
"We have a beautiful relationship,” Kylie coyly responded.
Discussing her lavish Birkin bag collection, she explained: “The one I wore today I would die for. The matte black croc. That I wear, like, every day. The Himalayan diamonds is also, like, are you kidding me?”
When asked if she’s ‘sourcing or buying’ her bags, Kylie replied, “Most of them [are] direct from the store. Older ones, I have sourced them.”
As mentioned, though, the comments have caused some backlash on social media with some fans branding Kylie's Birkin 'love language' as 'disconnected' and out of touch.

Over on Reddit, one person wrote: "Kylie failing to be relatable going on Jake Shane's Therapuss tonight... bragging about swapping Birkins as her 'love language' with Kirs. How disconnected can one be?"
A second added: "Casually gifting two tuitions' worth of money every holiday is WILD."
And a third wrote: "They are absolutely disconnected from the reality of how the majority of the world lives."
However, someone else pointed out: "Relatability has never ever been their selling point. I'm so confused why people get so upset about her not being relatable. That's not why people follow them."
And another agreed: "At some point, we have to accept that these people have another level of wealth. They ain't never going to be relatable to 99% of the population."
While someone else penned: "Why do you need a billionaire to be relatable to you? How can you expect that given the way she grew up? I think that’s naive."
