It should come as no surprise that Kris Jenner knows a lot about her famous daughters. She is the most iconic momager after all!
So, you can imagine Kris’ shock and fury after finding out that Kourtney Kardashian was pregnant via the news.
The 44-year-old Poosh founder is expecting her fourth child and first with husband Travis Barker. The pair are known for their intense PDA and their baby announcement was no exception.
The loved-up pair announced they were expecting their first child together by recreating a famous scene from the Blink-182 music video for ‘All the Small Things’ at one of the band’s concerts back in June.
Kourtney stood in the crowd holding with a sign that read: “Travis I’m pregnant.”
And it turns out that Kris, 67, found out about the baby news at the exact same time the rest of us did - and she wasn’t best pleased about finding out so late.
In a preview for this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the moment Kourtney announced her pregnancy will be addressed by the famous sisters.
Kourtney’s younger sister Khloé Kardashian reveals: “My mom found out on the news. She wasn’t very happy.”
Kris then admits that she thought she was being pranked. “I thought I was being Punk’d.”
Kourtney hasn’t been getting on well with her family in the current season of the reality show, with the dust still not settling following her feud with sister Kim, 42, regarding her Dolce & Gabbana campaign.
Kourtney even refused to attend the family’s trip to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico at the beginning of the season.
She is already a mama to three children from her previous relationship with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, Mason, 13, Penelope 11 and Reign 8. Travis also has children from his past relationship with Shanna Moakler; 20-year-old Landon and Alabama, 17.
The yet-to-be-born tot will be the first child she and Travis share together, but Kourtney's fourth child in total.
Opening up about how she now falls into the category of a geriatric pregnancy, the reality TV star told Vogue: "That word is just so wild. But my doctors are so cautious and I’ve had so many more restrictions than my other pregnancies.
"The first trimester was no working out, no flying on airplanes, no sex. Then the second trimester, I could do anything. Now, I am back to all the restrictions."
The 'restrictions' are, in part, due to the fact the expecting mother and her unborn child were rushed to emergency surgery to save the baby's life last month.
"That experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of pregnancy that I didn’t know about in the past," she said. "It was terrifying.
"After, I learned that insurance typically only covers two ultrasounds when you’re pregnant, I had no idea. I’ve always been lucky enough to do more than what insurance covers, and it’s one of those ultrasounds that saved my baby’s life."
