Kim Kardashian may have just revived a Millennial fashion trend after sharing a life update with her fans.

It's clear that the fans of the Kardashian-Jenner family follow their movements incredibly closely, with many keeping a close eye on their socials to see just what's in style that week.

And, according to the 44-year-old SKIMS founder's latest Instagram photo dump, it would appear as if a beloved trend synonymous with the golden era of Y2K fashion is well and truly back.

Now, despite my beliefs that the humble belly button piercing never went out of style, as a proud wearer of one, it's clear we're seeing less and less of the naval bling ever since the days of super low-rise jeans, Von Dutch caps, and blitzy slogan tees.

But, we could be seeing a shift in attitudes now that Kim herself is wearing one.

The reality TV star uploaded a series of eight photos giving fans a glimpse into her 'life lately', featuring cute family pics, a pouty selfie, a vintage-looking car interior, and some self-care selfies with her daughter, Chicago.

But it's clear there was one photo in particular fans couldn't help but point out.

The fifth snap was an up-close shot of someone (supposedly Kim) donning some grey trackies while pulling their shirt up to show off her belly button piercing.

One Instagram user gushed: "I love the bellybutton piercing!"

"Piercing???!! Nooooooooooo omg," hit out a second, who clearly wasn't too happy about the trend being brought back into the mainstream.

And another wondered: "Is that Kim's belly piercing?"

Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see if belly rings make a comeback this season...

Talking of Millennial fashion, there's another wardrobe staple they're calling to be brought back after Gen Z allegedly killed off the trend altogether.

OK, so we're already all caught up on the whole hatred of high heels, the skinny jean controversy, and - of course - the downfall of crop tops, but it seems the latest contention between the two generations is all about, arguably, one of the most popular fashion trends of the 2010s.

Yep, while Gen Z popularly opt for baggy jeans and cargo pants, it's clear their older predecessors are sticking whatever was most 'in' during their coming of age era - namely, black leggings.

The conversation was opened up on Reddit, where one person asked: "What’s your 'old person' hill you’ll die on?"

No doubt, people couldn't wait to share their two cents, with one user confessing: "My black leggings will have to be pulled from my cold dead hands."

And, unsurprisingly, it prompted a whole avalanche of responses from people who clearly share the same sentiment, with another admitting: "This is how I know I’m getting old because I unironically think 'kids these days wear their pants too baggy and too low'."

I feel personally called out...
