Kim Kardashian has won the hearts of Millennials everywhere, after she wore the holy grail of night-out outfits to the F1 race in Monaco.
Back in the early 2000s, getting ready to go 'out out' was much simpler.
Picking an outfit boiled down to one choice, either the good old 'jeans and a nice top' combo, or one of the bodycon bandage dresses.
Fortunately, the jeans and a nice top look was the one Kim K opted for, when she turned up at the F1 to support Lewis Hamilton.

One viewer praised: "Loved Kim’s F1 outfit today. The jeans with the black lace really ate."
This commenter felt you need some more accessories for that accurate 2000s/2010s flare "Don’t forget either dangly earrings, a long colourful necklace or a bangle!"

On X, a beauty account tracked down the details of what she was wearing: "A black lace bodysuit with Gucci Horsebit-embellished low-rise flared jeans, Gucci Sign Shield sunglasses, and Gucci Black Horsebit Pointed Toe Pumps. Chic, sultry, and unmistakably glamorous."
While Gucci is out of the price bracket for most of us, many Millennials long for the days of jeans and a nice top, hands full of bright blue alcopops, and a digital camera hanging from your wrist.
The next day an album full of hundreds of blurry photos would appear on Facebook, with an inevitable row breaking out for tagging your mate in some unflattering pics.
We'll have to wait and see if the Kardashian clan pick up the rest of the trends, but here's hoping the jeans and a nice top revival carries on.
She was also praised for this beloved combo back in 2023, when she went to see Beyoncé, clad in jeans and a mirrorball glitzy crop top and choker to set it off.
Even Vogue spoke out in praise of that particular look.

Her appearance at the F1 was to support Hamilton, after they went Instagram official a month ago after spending some romantic weekends together.
A source told The Sun: "It was all kept very quiet—they clearly wanted to have some time for just the two of them."
They told People: "He's just an easygoing guy with great energy. Her family likes him and Kim's very into him. They are both busy with their careers, but see each other as much as possible. It's more than just a casual connection. It takes a lot to capture Kim's interest and she's definitely intrigued."
However, not everyone approved of the look, saying that the F1 in Monaco deserved more effort than jeans and that it wasn't the time or the place for the style.
One commenter wrote on Facebook: "All the other wives and girlfriends came dressed like fashionistas. Her outfit was a joke. I dressed better than she did at Monaco and I was in the grandstands!"
"It's the norm to always look very elegant at the races," insisted another.
"I’m not a Kim hater… but you’re literally Kim Kardashian. Making your debut Paddock appearance. In MONACO. And THIS is the outfit you choose?!” wrote another.
One defended her choice: “Guys this is THE Kim K she can wear whatever she wants unapologetically she's bringing in a new era of wags and im here for it.”'
Hamilton was thrilled to have Kim there though, and the couple were spotted blowing kisses to one another.
Following the podium, Sky Sports says he told the press: "It's amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support
"But, you know, with my friends, incredible turnout, just overall, the people. It's amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you and she does that for me every day," he praised.
