Khloe Kardashian faces backlash from fans over daughter and niece's 'dangerous behaviour'

Khloe Kardashian faces backlash from fans over daughter and niece's 'dangerous behaviour'

The Instagram post proved to be pretty controversial

Khloe Kardashian has faced backlash from fans over 'dangerous behaviour' displayed by her daughter and niece.

The Kardashians star uploaded a video to her Instagram story on Tuesday (10 October) of her daughter True, five, and her brother Rob Kardashian's daughter, six-year-old Dream dancing around her home.

The 39-year-old Good American co-founder has since come under criticism for the video with a few social media users rushing to point out the alleged health and safety issues.

The video, taken inside Khloe's $17 million (approximately £13 million) home in Los Angeles, saw the two girls dancing and laughing about in the dining room before they got up onto the dining table.

Khloe can be heard cheering on True and Dream, dressed in sweet matching Octonauts pyjama sets, as they danced to Britney Spears' hit 2008 track 'Circus'.

Really bringing it back to the good old days, the two tots also boogied to the Macarena.

"How do you know how to do this if you've never heard this song?" Khloe asked her daughter.

Her niece, Dream, who was born in 2016, replied: "She hasn't but she's just dancing to it!"

The mum-of-two captioned the video: "True's first time hearing this song. They come up with their dances on the spot.

"It's too cute. Express yourself ladies."

Now, while many found the video beyond adorable - a few seemed to find issue with the girls using the raised dining table as some sort of catwalk and believed they were dancing too close to the edge for comfort.

Fans rushed to Reddit to share their worries with one claiming the whole situation was 'so unsafe'.

"Yikes my mum would have never let me do that!" confessed a second concerned viewer.

Other Reddit users simply echoed the phrase I'm pretty sure we've probably heard our parents or teachers say to us once in our life: "You'll crack your head open!"

A final social media user added: "I’m not spending all night at the ER, get down!"

Khloe shares True with her ex-husband, Canadian-American basketball player Tristan Thompson, 32.

True was born back in April 2018 then, in August of last year, she welcomed her first son, Tatum, via surrogate.

After Tristan became involved in a high-profile cheating scandal and fathered another child with fitness model Maralee Nichols,

the pair have since maintained a platonic friendship in a bid to co-parent the kids together effectively, with Khloe saying in a June episode of The Kardashians: "Tristan and I, we always get along great.

"Him and I, have a great friendship-relationship, we get along fine. And for my kids, I will put anything to the side. What’s done is done, so what would I still be holding on to something for? I don’t need to punish him because I’m not getting back with him."
