Tristan Thompson Apologises To Khloe Kardashian After Revealing Paternity Test Results
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this.”
Tristan Thompson has apologised to his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, after a paternity test proved he has fathered a baby while in a relationship with her.
The 30-year-old basketball player was named as the father in a paternity lawsuit that was raised by fitness model Maralee Nichols.
Taking to Instagram, Tristan confirmed the news and issued a grovelling apology to Khloe, whom he shares three-year-old daughter True with.
“Today paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” Tristan’s Instagram Story read.
“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
“I sincerely apologise to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
Tristan continued: “Khloe, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you.
“You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.
"I have the upmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
Tristan and Khloe have had an on-off relationship since they first started dating in 2016, with their relationship rocked by numerous cheating scandals.
Just days prior to Khloe’s due date with True in 2018, a number of videos were released which appeared to show Tristan kissing a woman at a rooftop bar. Another photo was released which showed Tristan following her to a hotel room.
While the pair reconciled, they split in February 2019 after it was alleged that Tristan was seen kissing Kylie Jenner’s former friend Jordyn Woods at a party.
However, in July 2020, Khloe was ready to give the relationship with Tristan another try and Tristan featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
While Tristan initially denied the child Maralee has was his, he had admitted to having sex with her during his 30th birthday celebrations.
