Khloé Kardashian has been fiercely defended by fans after sharing a milestone picture of her daughter which left people outraged.
The 40-year-old reality TV star took to social media yesterday (27 August) to share a series of snaps with her 307 million Instagram followers - the content of which proved to be quite the controversy.
To bring on the back-to-school season in her typical Kardashians style, Khloé opted for - no surprise - a mammoth balloon arc complete with a pastel-coloured crayon display and big banner reading 'First Day of First Grade' for her six-year-old daughter True.
She captioned the photo dump: "First Grade!!! True I am so proud of you!!
"I know you’re going to have the most incredible year ahead of you! I couldn’t be happier for you my angel.

Now the Kar-Jen family have become pretty notorious when it comes to their balloon obsession - something which has prompted many to slam them for the 'wasteful' environmental impact these celebrations can cause.
One Instagram user declared: "I love you Khloe but legit the amount of waste that comes from your family is insane.

"In this climate, in this economy, you could’ve done something special for your kid AND THOUSANDS OF OTHERS. The environmental footprint of your family is disgusting to say the least. You could pay someone’s mortgage every day and still be rich af."
"I absolutely love Khloé but this is excessive for the first day of school lol," hit out a second.
A third piped up: "The amount of balloons this family goes through is so bad for the environment."

"I can’t handle the ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT of this family! Seriously? All these balloons to announce your kid is going into 1st grade?!" echoed a fourth.
And a fifth added: "I love you guys, but in a world that is going thru soooo much. It's almost upsetting to see how excessive and wasteful you guys can be. I'm truly not criticising at all. I'm just truly wondering if you're AWARE."
Other fans, however, couldn't wait to praise the mum-of-two with one Instagram user writing: "You’re an amazing mama !!! Congrats True!"
