Kevin Spacey has set the record straight regarding his 'homelessness' following his remarks in a recent interview that has since gone viral online.
For those who have no idea what we're talking about, the American actor, 66, sat down for an interview with The Telegraph, which was published last week.
He opened up about what's going on in his life and reflected on the past few years, which have been shrouded in controversy since people came forward with sexual misconduct accusations against the Hollywood star.

Spacey was accused by some 15 alleged victims of sexual assault and harassment, and while several of the claims went to court, the actor was never convicted by a jury.
The House of Cards actor was acquitted in a UK court in July 2023 of all charges he was facing, and a year before this, a jury found him not guilty of sexual assault and battery in a civil lawsuit launched by one of his accusers, Anthony Rapp.
However, this didn't mean that the actor went back to life as normal.

He told the publication: "The last seven years have offered me a lot of opportunity to reflect and be reminded of what I’m grateful for, and the people in my life."
In the same interview, Spacey revealed he lost his house 'because the costs over these last seven years have been astronomical,' adding that he's had 'very little coming in and everything going out'.
But, he explained: “You get through it. In weird ways, I feel I’m back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was.
"Everything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I’ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again.

“I’m living in hotels, I’m living in Airbnbs, I’m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that’s what I’m attempting to explain."
These comments quickly went viral, as well as the article's headline, which read: "Kevin Spacey interview: Homeless, cancelled and crooning in Cyprus."
People took it to mean that the celebrity was literally homeless and living on the streets - something he's cleared up with a social media video today (24 November). Take a look below:
Speaking to the camera, the award-winning actor said: "Hi everyone. I don't usually make it my business to correct the media, if I did I wouldn't have time for much else.
"But in light of recent articles claiming I am homeless, I feel the need to respond. Not to the press but to the thousands of people who have reached out over the past few days offering me a place to stay or have just asked if I'm okay."

He continued: "And to all of you, let me first say that I am truly touched by your generosity full stop. But I feel it would be disingenuous of me to allow you to believe that I am indeed homeless in the colloquial sense.
"In my conversation with Mick Brown, the wonderful journalist who wrote the story that was in The Telegraph, where this rumour first began, I basically said I was living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is, just as I did when I first started out in this business.

"I've been working nearly non-stop this entire year and for that I have so much to be grateful for.

"There are many people as well all know who are indeed actually living on the streets or in their cars or are in terrible financial situations, and my heart goes out to them."
Spacey clarified: "But it is clear from the article itself that I am not one of them nor was I attempting to say that I was, which is why it was a shame that The Telegraph chose to undermine the work of their own journalist by selling him out with a knowingly misleading headline for the sake of clicks."
