Kate Hudson’s brother Oliver Hudson has just sparked quite the divide online following his comments on her 'nipple exposer dress'.
The pair are the children of Hollywood A-lister Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson, who were wed from 1976 to 1982.
Wyatt Russell is Kate's younger half-brother through Hawn and actor Kurt Russell. Emily Hudson and Zachary Hudson are her half-siblings through her father, Hudson.
Kate and Oliver are very close and even co-hosted the Sibling Revelry podcast together.

It all started over the weekend (14 December) with Oliver, 49, sharing a photo of Kate, 46, on Instagram at the Song Sung Blue film premiere, which took place last week (10 December).
The snap in question showed the Almost Famous actress looking stunning in a Valentino deep-V-neck gown cinched with a silk ribbon, paired with a sleek, slick-back bun.
The behind-the-scenes pic of Kate getting ready included a hand-drawn red circle around the garment's plunging neckline.

He captioned the post: "I’ll start by saying that I cry every day with pride for my sis after seeing her performance in Song Sung Blue. It moved me beyond expectation. (Tearing up as I write this)."
However, Oliver, a fellow actor, added: "But it’s not fair to me as her older brother to have to see this kind of inappropriate nipple exposer of a dress.
"I would never show my body in a post out of respect for America and parts of Iceland."
The Grown Ups 2 star then concluded the post writing '#shacklethenipple' - a play on the #freethenipple movement on social media.

After catching light of the headlines, fans rushed in to slam Oliver's remarks, with one Instagram user writing: "Shut up, older brother. She looks great!"
"She isn’t responsible for his comfort. She looks beautiful, and he can kick rocks," slammed a second.
A third chimed in: "He’s dress-coding her? What is he, a middle school principal?"

"Is he okay?" questioned a fourth, while a fifth jabbed: "Then don't look. She looks amazing."
"Stop it. Shut up! She looked amazing and appropriate," a final fan defended.
Others, however, were quick to contextualise the now-viral quotes, understanding that Oliver and his sister have a super close friendship and often crack jokes at each other's expense.
One outlined: 'It’s called him being a big brother and joking around. Everyone is too serious about EVERYTHING."

"It’s obvious most of the people commenting on here did not read the article and have no idea of their relationship… he’s hilarious," echoed another.
And a final person pointed out: "If anyone has followed Oliver Hudson, they know he is saying this in sibling funny troll way. Their relationship is hilarious."
