Justin Bieber fans have pointed out a confusing detail in his recent Instagram post with his wife Hailey Bieber - but not everyone's in agreement.

After dating on-and-off and being friends for several years, the Canadian musician, 31, and Rhode founder, 28, made their relationship official in 2016.

Justin got down on one knee in July 2018, and the celebrity couple tied the knot just a few months later at a courthouse in lower Manhattan on 13 September 2018, before hosting a stunning formal wedding ceremony in South Carolina's Somerset Chapel months later.

They've been going from strength to strength since, and welcomed their first child together on August 22, 2024 - a baby boy called Jack Blues Bieber.

However, as with any high-profile relationship, they've had to deal with a lot of social media trolls, as well as never-ending split rumours and speculation about their romance.

And the latest detail that fans have picked apart is a selfie Justin posted with Hailey on his Instagram yesterday (28 October).

The picture in question was of himself and his glamorous wife at the World Series game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the team Justin supports, the Toronto Blue Jays.

Justin and Hailey were papped watching Game Three from the stands in Los Angeles, with the singer showing his support with a customised team jersey with his name on the back.

In the selfie, Hailey is holding up her drink in a paper cup and smiling, sitting next to Justin who is also looking into the camera, but without a smile.

The caption sweetly read: "My favourite date forever."

But, despite this heartwarming comment, as we say, some social media trolls couldn't help but nitpick and point out that Justin's facial expression doesn't look too pleased.

One Twitter user wrote: "Wow. You look pretty miserable, Justin. Blink twice if you need help," while a second added: "Bro genuinely looks unhappy."

Others brutally agreed: "Bro never smiling in any pictures of them together" and "Bro looks p**sed!!!"

"She looks happy he looks like he just respawned," joked another.

However, others rushed to praise the couple, with one gushing: "The way you two make stadium seats look like a throne? Absolute power couple energy. Here's to infinite innings of this cuteness."

Someone else penned: "That’s the kind of peace money can’t buy" and another added: "We get it, you won the relationship lottery."

Others chimed in with: "Best couple ever" and "Things we love to see!"

"Very sweet! Stay well and be happy," penned another fan of the duo.

It comes just after Justin shared what his definition of cheating is during a recent Twitch livestream. The singer joined the platform earlier this month, and has been keeping his followers up to date with regular streams.

He said during a recent conversation: "If you even think of a woman with lust, it’s the same thing as actually doing it - committing adultery, or whatever.

"It’s like the same thing. So it’s like, if it even crosses your mind for one second…"
